Formerly the only solution to having custom boss music play during the Ghost of Captain Cornelia's fight, now an addon for the Aquamirae mod by Obscuria that tweaks the way the Ghost of Captain Cornelia's boss music plays. The mod:
- Allows the theme to restart once it's done playing
- Cuts the music off once the boss is defeated or if the player dies/travels beyond a certain distance away from the boss
- Adds a custom victory jingle for when the boss is defeated
- Displays an action bar message indicating the track currently being played (as well as its author) as the player encounters the boss
- Makes the song's volume adjustable via the "Jukebox/Note Blocks" slider instead of the "Music" slider in Options > Music & Sounds and completely culls off Minecraft's default music when the boss theme is active.

How to solve the "music playing at spawn" problem
You probably had Dynamic Surroundings installed. Don't worry, it isn't a total necessity to outright prune the mod off your modlist.
