Popular isn't the same as good.

Download counts and trending lists only tell part of the story.

ModDex is built around community reviews and structured ratings so you can judge quality over popularity.

ModDex brings together CurseForge and Modrinth into one catalog of Minecraft mods and modpacks, with shared filters, tags, and ratings. So far, players have left 4,507 ratings and reviews.

Dimension Mods

  • [ANGRY PIXEL] The Betweenlands

My favorite dimension mod, places at number one for me Dark, damp, eerie and often not easy, an exploration-focused dimension where the environment is just as much of a threat than actual foes Surprisingly cozy for such a hostile place; Also TURN UP THE MUSIC when playing, you'll thank me later :) 'Wrote a review of that one, my first ever review If I'm still around, I will edit this review when the mod gets ported eventually

Every detail is in the FAQ!

For mod and modpack authors

ModDex is independent of CurseForge and Modrinth. We display their catalogs with explicit permission from both platforms, alongside the reviews players write about your work.

Questions about how your project appears? The FAQ covers syncing, tags, and verification.

  • We never host, store, or redistribute your files.
  • Every download button sends players to the original platform, not CDN links, so your download revenue stays yours.
  • Link your Modrinth account to become a Verified Developer: you get a badge on reviews of your projects, can reply to them publicly, and can manage your project's tags.

From the creator

CalaMariGold

Hi! I'm Mari, and thanks for checking out ModDex!

In April of 2023, I launched a website called MMC Reviews with a similar goal of providing a place for modded Minecraft players to write reviews of mods and modpacks. Eventually, I realized the original architecture of the site wasn't cutting it for the ambitions I had. So, in early 2025, I started work on a total rewrite in a new architecture with tons of new features. That rewrite became ModDex! I'm really proud of my work on this site, and I hope you find it fun and useful!

I've played Minecraft since the beta days and got into mods pretty early on, with some of my favorites being Mo' Creatures and Millénaire. Since then, I've been active in the modded community, being the original creator of Rebirth of the Night, as well as creating other modpacks such as TREPIDATION and Modernized 1.12.

I watch a lot of Minecraft YouTube, with some of my favorite content creators being Cosmonautic (opens in new tab), The Bottom Dweller (opens in new tab), IX (opens in new tab), Hobble (opens in new tab), and Nekomaster (Infernal Studios) (opens in new tab). Go check them out!

I'm also a musician and Twitch streamer (opens in new tab)! Come by my streams for music, silliness, and occasional gaming.
