My favorite dimension mod, places at number one for me Dark, damp, eerie and often not easy, an exploration-focused dimension where the environment is just as much of a threat than actual foes Surprisingly cozy for such a hostile place; Also TURN UP THE MUSIC when playing, you'll thank me later :) 'Wrote a review of that one, my first ever review If I'm still around, I will edit this review when the mod gets ported eventually
Not the second best, a lot of mods which I have yet to review could fill in that space Also survival-exploration focused but set within a dryer setting, with enemies being both humans and monsters I have made a review of this one too
Nice Bee dim mod; Reminds me of the Hive area in a certain game I mention in my review Nice mod, waiting for more content to potentially rate it higher
MCreator mod which has surprisingly good aesthetic and vibe Sad that this horror realm is now abandoned by its creator, but hey let me know if it updates somehow (Already reviewed)
Cozy dimension, you might like it here That said, the whole dungeon exploration things inspired by twilight forest isn't that good, and a lot of the creatures aren't particularly good-looking either Still decent, but not my cup of tea (Already Reviewed)
Might have to retry a later version/earlier version of this mod at some point, but for now its here
Is going under a more or less major update (currently in alpha state) Is going to get better in the future, stay tuned
I feel like I grew up with this mod I recall deep in my lost memories, French youtubers presenting this mod Much better alternatives exist today but yk, one can dream...
Cool concept Eerie aspect Real good, not reviewed but that's probably going to be a 4/5
So betweenlands but underground ? I don't mind honestly, plus the soundtrack is dope Not reviewed yet
Same case, played this mod without knowing anything about dead cells during our sessions on All of Fabric (6? or was it 7? I don't remember) Really good, nice boss, fits really well into the randomly-generated game that is Minecraft Yet to review that one
Friends like that one I don't, much. There's too much lost potential, it could've been so much more interesting; Probably a similar situation than AtumII Yet to Review, I hope later updates will change my mind
A classic that is getting old Older sky dimension turned into a mod is cool, and it fits with the hellish wasteland that was the old Nether But doesn't fit if it stays the same alongside the 1.16+ Nether (aka better in older versions, but cannot stand against many modern dimension mods) Yet to review that one
Don't expect it to be reviewed soon, I have to understand the whole rat upgrade system beforehand Yet to review that one
Is it as good as the betweenlands ? Probably not I'll review this one at some point, can't avoid it forever
Works well as a parallel to the old Nether Is still in older versions where that parallel works ? Not much content though Yet to review that one
I've heard it was complex, like the betweenlands in many ways I'll review SaltyMod before this one for sure ed : saltymod got reviewed, this one will occur at some point
The Other CazFps mod that I know little about, only that it looks good too. I'll review it at some point for sure, don't know when but it might happen
Random person said "betweenlands-like in complexity" I'll have to see for myself if the statement stays true Probably less packed with content, but content only matters if its good Hopeful, I'm waiting to review that one
Certain devs are in common with the betweenlands, almost like a cousin to the mod if you will Bugs are cool Yet to review that one
Might never review that one, too tech-focused Might be good considering its already-high ratings See it for yourself I guess
sht mod that I heard of in an old French MC Youtuber's video It has a lot of mobs and about 4 dims, but it's still 1.12 bad MCreator content Can serve a modpack in certain conditions though ? you will find better than this I'm sure
About
Look for dimension mods by filtering with "features->custom dimensions" and disabling "features->nether impr./end impr." this allows to only see mods which add new dimensions without altering existing ones.
This Stack contains every dimension-adding mod which I know of, usually mods which add only one or two dimensions packed with content
Most if not all of these mods will get reviewed at some point
