FastOrbs is a lightweight, server-side Fabric mod designed to improve performance by optimizing how experience orbs behave in Minecraft.
Features
- Faster Orb Merging - Replaces vanilla's expensive merge logic with a streamlined implementation that checks fewer conditions.
- Instant Pickup - Removes the 2-tick delay before players can collect XP orbs.
- Reduced Server Load - Merge checks run every 2 ticks instead of every tick, and unnecessary entity checks are skipped.
- Smarter Spawning - Optimizes awardWithDirection to merge new orbs more efficiently with existing nearby orbs.
