Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.
Quilt is a fork of the Fabric mod loader. Many Fabric mods are compatible with Quilt and vice versa.

Description
The sequel datapack to Funky Flora, "Blooming Biosphere" has been released! It is available for 1.20, and I highly recommend using it in favor of funky flora.
Funky Flora is a datapack for 1.19 and 1.20 designed to improve vanilla overworld biomes with new and improved trees and fungi. As of now, all common biomes have received an overhaul! More may come in the future. This pack has been designed to be vanilla friendly, and make every biome more fun to explore and settle in.
This datapack is compatible with Tectonic. Probably. Otherwise, this should work with other worldgen datapacks/mods that do not modify vanilla biomes.

Mangrove Swamp New features include 4 sizes of mangrove trees, 2 types of mushrooms, unique tree generation with gigantic mangroves appearing over water, and thickets of small mangroves on the surface! -
Taiga Trees have been made taller, and even larger trees have been added. Podzol can appear around some of the trees, along with boulders. -
Savanna The standard trees have been altered to be taller, and have rounder leaves, and shrubs have been added to the biome. With the "Tweaked Savanna Colors" addon installed, the colors of this biome will be improved. -
Old Growth Birch Forest The trees are even taller than before, with the addition of many bushes, and brown mushrooms. -
Jungle Surface Many new trees are present in the jungle, mostly being branching azalea trees, and gigantic sprawling dark oaks. -
Dark Forest In addition to the many new types of trees, this biome contains massive fungi and has scattered moss carpet along the ground. -
Forest The trees of the forest now appear much more natural looking, with bending trunks and bushy leaves. The vanilla shaped trees are also slightly taller. -
Mangrove Swamp Bayou A picture showcasing the gigantic mangroves that occur over water. -
Jungle Treetops An extra picture for the jungle. -
Swamp The trees in the swamp have been overhauled to not look completely and utterly terrible! Small and medium sized mangroves can also occur in the swamps. -
Old Growth Birch Forest pt 2 Some parts of the biome are extra dense.
