Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Created for use on my University Minecraft world (derex smp) + randos. Check it out in action, server ip: mc.longhorns.dev
This datapack uses advancements to discreetly notify when players acquire risky items, such as TNT. The notifications appear as in-game achievements, providing a subtle yet effective way to monitor potentially dangerous items, and displaying them in logs. This happens all without having to write external code, relying on supported Vanilla mechanics (in game achievements).
You can then easily see suspicious behavior, like if a player just joins, and immediately acquires diamond gear, flint and steel, and TNT. With DiscordSRV integration, these alerts are broadcasted to a designated Discord channel, enabling server administrators to quickly identify and respond to potential rogue players.

Or I guess you can just use this if you want some flashy achievements for when your players pick up a bucket of water. Or want to mimic Jack Black from the Minecraft movie.
