MC-105068 is a minecraft bug where when another player hits a player blocking with a shield, they hear the default hurt sound instead of the block sound. This also means shield disable sounds don’t play. However this mods fixes this by adding the following:

Adds Shield disable sounds

Adds Shield block sounds for explosions, arrows, normal hitting etc

Even plays shield sounds from other player's shield
