Description

Point Blank Bullet Addon (PBBA)

Point Blank Bullet Addon converts supported Vic's Point Blank hitscan gunfire into fast visible projectile entities. This lets projectile and ranged-damage systems, including RPG Skill Tree and Pufferfish's Attributes, interact with Point Blank gunfire through projectile damage instead of pure hitscan damage.

PBBA keeps the bullet speed, feel, and visuals consistent across its supported release lines while adapting the implementation to each Minecraft/Fabric target.

Supported Files

  • Minecraft 1.21.11: PBBA 0.1.6
  • Minecraft 1.21 and 1.21.1: PBBA 0.1.5 backport
  • Minecraft 1.20.1: PBBA 0.1.5 backport

Use the file that matches your Minecraft version.

What It Does

  • Converts supported VPB hitscan shots into fast projectile entities.
  • Preserves ammo consumption and cancels the original hitscan damage path after projectile spawn.
  • Uses projectile damage sources for compatibility with ranged/projectile systems.
  • Renders visible tracer bullets with per-weapon visual profiles.
  • Supports shotgun and multi-pellet projectile behavior.
  • Suppresses duplicate VPB/content-pack hitscan tracers where PBBA owns the projectile visual.
  • Includes a PBBA hit-confirmation sound for confirmed projectile hits.

Optional Hit Them Hard Mode

PBBA 0.1.6 for Minecraft 1.21.11 includes an optional Hit Them Hard projectile-balance mode. It is off by default through config/pbba-hit-them-hard.json.

Enable it from the optional Mod Menu screen or by editing the server config, then restart the game or server. Multiplayer clients cannot change a remote server's PBBA Hit Them Hard config from Mod Menu.

This Hit Them Hard feature set is only included in the 1.21.11 PBBA release line.

Blue Archive Pack

PBBA supports Point Blank content-pack guns, including the Blue Archive content pack, through normal Point Blank content-pack loading. PBBA does not include or redistribute Blue Archive or Vic's Point Blank assets.
