The Cosmology of Friction

"In the beginning, there was no void. There was only the Cosmic Loom—a hyper-dense, hyper-pure tapestry of perfect, uniform energy."

When the universe was spoken into existence, it was not a sterile event. The act of creation left friction. The rubbing together of dimensions, the collision of newborn planets, and the celestial drift of stars wore down the perfect, smooth edges of reality. The primordial "off-cuts" of creation drifted into the dark, silent spaces of the cosmos.

This is the cosmic origin of Pocket Lint. It is not mere household trash; it is the ultimate, hyper-compressed carbon decay of the universe's friction. Every time a player sneaks, walks, or sleeps, the subtle friction of their physical coordinate vector rubbing against the Minecraft engine's spatial grid deposits a microscopic, static-charged lattice of this cosmic dust into their pockets.

For eons, this trash was ignored. But as mortal civilizations grew, two opposing philosophies arose from those who studied the mysterious, endless dust:

Choose Your Path: Sterility vs. Entropy

Your journey begins with passive clutter, but quickly fractures into a massive, multi-tiered ideological struggle. Will you cleanse the universe of its friction, or will you weaponize its decay?

The Side of Soap (The Purity Accord)

Believers that the universe must be cleansed of its friction. By scrubbing away the decay, polishing raw minerals, and autoclaving biological matter, reality can be restored to its pristine, friction-free, perfectly ordered state.

Forge the Butcher's Cleaver, harvest fat from livestock, boil lye, and create the Soapy Cauldron. Dunk a Dry Rag inside to obtain the Wet Rag—your ultimate weapon of aggressive domestic sanitation. Scrub hostile monsters raw to sanitize them, or mine high-altitude Pristine Alabaster to unlock three advanced subclasses:

  • The Sanitizing Medic: Strip toxins from organic decay using high-pressure Autoclaves, brewing status-erasing Panacea Elixirs.
  • The Porcelain Mason: Aggregate alabaster and iron into hyper-smooth porcelain to build blast-immune, spider-repelling structures.
  • The Pristine Arbiter: Polish heavy armor to mirror-like shines that blind attackers, block incoming spells, and repair automatically in the rain.

The Side of Rot (The Entropic Assembly)

Believers that friction is the source of all motion, energy, and life. By cultivating decay, multiplying static electrical charges, and warping coordinates, they embrace the chaotic, beautiful instability of a dirty universe.

Craft the Spore Scraper, harvest decaying fungal spores, compress rotten flesh, and boil a bubbling, oily green Sour Cauldron. Create the Soiled Rag to smear kinetic instability across the land. Dig deep below the deepslate boundaries to mine Fossilized Fuzz and Crackling Amber, unlocking three chaotic subclasses:

  • The Entropic Deconstructor: Dissolve the structural integrity of block elements, reverse refining stone, and apply corrosive rusts to permanently strip enemy armor attributes.
  • The Plague Alchemist: Boil filthy rags to harvest volatile greenhouse gases, throw coordinate-disrupting Stench Potion clouds, and deploy highly unstable crop mutagens.
  • The Dynamo Tinkerer: Conduct raw electrostatic currents through conductive wiring to magnetically drag enemies closer and fully charge your exosuit with direct lightning strikes.

The Paradox of the Loom

True masters of the mod eventually discover the ultimate cosmological truth: Purity and Decay are a single, closed loop.

A perfectly clean piece of wool (Soap) will eventually rub against the world and shed lint (Rot). Conversely, if you gather enough chaotic, dirty pocket lint and compress it under enough pressure, it forms a pure carbon lattice that can be washed and spun back into pristine fabric. Separating the two is to understand only half of reality.

Unlock The Grey Weaver—the ultimate, secret 7th class. By building the Singularity Loom, you can weave Soap and Rot payloads together to achieve Pristine Imperfection, granting you the ability to manipulate the friction of the universe itself.

  • Toggle Friction: Slide over any block at $+50%$ speed with zero inertia, and walk across liquid as if it were polished concrete.
  • Rewrite Death: Consume armor durability to rewind your health, coordinates, and inventory back to where they were $5\text{ seconds}$ prior to a fatal blow.
  • The Quantum Lint Singularity: Fire a miniature black hole of pure static dust that deconstructs local entities and blocks, collapsing in a kinetic implosion that spits them back out in a perfectly polished state.

Mod Features

  • Custom 7-Tier Progression System: Over 40 unique items and blocks bridging the gap between basic laundry and quantum mechanics.
  • Integrated 41-Advancement Tree: A fully mapped in-game roadmap charting your rise from "A Simple Fluff" to "The Sovereign of Singularity."
  • Two Custom Ore Sets: Scale high-altitude peaks for Pristine Alabaster or mine deepslate bands for Fossilized Fuzz.
  • Three Elaborate Armor Sets per Side: From self-cleaning reflective mail to lightning-powered electrostatic exosuits.
  • Specialized Harvesters: Custom tools designed for targeting livestock and gathering wild spores.
