About

Description

Very small addon for Sodium that splits the block shader into separate passes for all block render types, allowing for each to be replaced separately with something like Sodium Core Shader Support.

Unlike vanilla Minecraft, Sodium renders all blocks under one shader regardless of its render type. This limits core shaders modified through resource packs heavily as you're not able to have unique shaders on a case-by-case basis. This mod forces sodium to create and use different shaders for each render type (Opaque, translucent, cutout, cutout mipped) as opposed to just Opaque which everything would previously fall under.

Please note that this mod makes invasive changes to Sodium and may break with Iris or Nvidium (once that's updated) so I do not recommend using those in conjunction.

Brush-Up! emissive support Support is already built in on Brush-Up's end, so it works out of the box using both this mod and Sodium Core Shader Support.
