Description

🧠 Sanity System – Psychological Survival A subtle psychological horror experience for Minecraft 1.21.4 (Fabric)

What if the real enemy wasn’t a monster… but your own mind?

Sanity System – Psychological Survival introduces a hidden mental stability mechanic to Minecraft. Darkness, isolation, and fear slowly erode your sanity, causing immersive hallucinations, environmental distortions, and subtle horror events.

There are no loud jumpscares. No overpowered monsters. No constant chasing.

Instead, your world begins to feel… wrong.

🔥 Features 🧠 Hidden Sanity Mechanic

Sanity ranges from 0–100. Affected by: darkness, deep caves, isolation, lack of sleep, thunderstorms, the Deep Dark, and exposure to cold rain and water. Restored by: bright light, sleeping, villages, music, standing near other players, animal companionship (tamed wolves & cats), finding peace at high mountain altitudes, and holding a clock to ground yourself. 👁 Psychological Hallucinations

Fake footsteps and whispers heard just out of sight. Shadow figures watching you in the distance. Fake hostile mob sounds creeping up behind you. Torches that randomly flicker. Screen desaturation and subtle, panic-inducing visual distortions. A rare “watching” entity that immediately disappears when you look at it. 🌑 Dynamic Fear System The lower your sanity:

The more intense and suffocating the hallucinations become. The more frequent the strange disturbances. The more your perception of reality becomes completely unreliable. 👥 Multiplayer Compatible

Each player experiences completely independent hallucinations. Fully server-safe with no gameplay imbalance. ⚙ Fully Configurable

Enable or disable specific hallucinations. Adjust base sanity drain and regen rates. Toggle visual and screen distortion effects. Gamerule support and admin commands included. 🎮 Designed For: Hardcore survival players looking for a gritty challenge SMP servers wanting a unique twist Horror and suspense modpacks Content creators looking for atmospheric gameplay Players who love immersive, psychological experiences 🎧 Experience Minecraft Like Never Before Mining alone feels different. Night becomes heavier. Silence becomes unsettling.

You won’t know if what you saw… was real.
