Soulbound Blade

A Fabric mod that adds a single, mechanically rich weapon — the Soulbound Blade — with three interlocking combat systems: a life steal proc, a ghost slash ability, and a kill-streak buff.

The Soulbound Blade

Craft or obtain the Soulbound Blade and wield it in combat. The weapon rewards aggressive, kill-focused play with escalating power and a dramatic lifesteal proc.

Mechanics

Soul Stacks

Every enemy you kill with the Soulbound Blade charges you with a Soul Stack (up to 5). Each stack passively boosts your stats:

• +0.5 Attack Damage per stack
• +0.02 Movement Speed per stack

Stacks decay one at a time if 10 seconds pass without a kill — keep up the pressure.

Life Steal Proc

After landing 10–15 hits (randomized per proc), the blade triggers a life steal burst:

• A glowing ring erupts around you, pulsing every second for 5 seconds
• Each pulse deals 1.5 magic damage to all enemies within 5 blocks
• You are healed for 0.75 HP per entity hit per pulse — the more enemies caught, the more you recover

Ghost Slash (Shift + Right Click)

Unleash a ghost slash — a spectral sweep attack in front of you:

• Damages all surrounding entities for 3 damage as the invisible arc sweeps around you
• Applies radial knockback to every enemy hit
• Each enemy is only hit once per sweep
• Has a 3 second cooldown
• Paired with a full sweep animation rendered in the world
