About
Description
Spice of Life: Pomegranate Edition
Spice of Life: Pomegranate Edition is a fork of Spice of Life: Carrot Edition and Spice of Life: Classic Edition. This mod aims to encourage players to diversify their diet, avoiding the situation where they eat the same food from the start of the game all the way to the end. This is particularly important for the hundreds of new food items added in large modpacks.
What is the difference between it and the Carrot Edition and Classic Edition?
The Carrot Edition encourages dietary diversity by rewarding players for eating a variety of foods, rather than punishing them for not doing so. The Classic Edition, on the other hand, primarily pushes for dietary diversity through penalties. The Pomegranate Edition aims to combine the strengths of both by implementing a system of parallel rewards and penalties to avoid a one-sided approach. It also introduces new mechanics to enhance both the rewards and penalties, improving the overall modpack experience.
