About
Description
A modpack intended to improve Minecraft's terrain generation. Explore sprawling plains, vast deserts, towering mountains, dense jungles, and much more. The Nether and The End also have much more interesting generation as well.
Overhauled Villages
Find and explore much larger and interesting villages and pillager outposts. These new villages have much more detailed buildings and roads, making them feel more like towns.
Vast Moutains
Moutains now reach far above the clouds, looming in the distance. These moutains form moutain ranges which run along the world, seperating various regions.
Rivers and Valleys
Wide rivers flow along the world, reminiscent of real world rivers. These vast rivers even carve deep valleys into mountainous regions, leading to breathtaking views. Some rivers may even flow beneath mountains, forming undergound river systems.
Beaches and Seas
Beaches are much more vast, stretching out further before reaching the ocean. Some cliffsides facing the ocean may even be carved out, simulating the effects of wind amd waves. The oceans themselves are much deeper, reaching as far down as deepslate in some areas.
Structures
Various structures, such as Witch Huts, Strongholds, Ocean Monuments, Desert Temples, and more, have all been expanded and improved. These new structures not only offer greater size, but greater exploration as well, with many new intersting rooms and treasures to find.
Nether and End
Though they offer less changes than the Overworld, The Nether and The End both offer new terrain generation. The Nether offers new biomes as well as a few new enemies and structures, all of which aim to feel similar to vanilla Minecraft. The Nether Fortress has also been expanded, making it much larger and complex, with new useful rewards to find. The main End island has been comepletely rebuilt, having much larger obsidian spires as well as a small structure in the center. The outer End islands have also been improved, having much more interesting terrain and landscape with a alien feel to them; these new End islands also utilize a larger world height to add even more variation to them.
Performance
With this many changes to world generation, performance may be a concer of some. While perfect performance cannot be guaranteed, many mods are added to optimize rendering and world generation. Most systems should be able to handle the new generation without too much strain, but feel free to report any issues or concerns so that consistent performance can be maintained.
