Description

Black, Red, and Cloudy!

Black, Red, and Cloudy is a large-scale Minecraft mod built around contrast and consequence — light versus shadow, creation versus ruin, heaven versus hell. It focuses on magic, self-reflection, betrayal, holiness, darkness, archaeology, wizards, pirates, and the power of building as both salvation and destruction. Every mechanic and entity revolves around balance — what you create, what you destroy, and how the world mirrors your actions.

Factions & Themes The Builders of Haloch

An ancient order that believed architecture itself could harness divine power. Their structures pulse with golden energy and radiant runes. Though their creations once stood for purity, centuries of neglect have left them hollow, their golems now attacking any “imperfect” being they detect.

The Infernal Marrow

A brutal cult of pirate-sorcerers who raided both seas and dimensions. Their ships sail the molten oceans of the Nether, captained by skeletal lords bound by cursed gold. They use Hellfire Cannons, ghost anchors, and demonized treasure — proof that greed can become its own religion.

The Arcanists of Glasslight

A forgotten guild of scholar-wizards who blended light and logic. Their ruins are filled with transparent spell machines and puzzles powered by glowing runic glass. They believed knowledge could conquer darkness, but their own experiments tore rifts through dimensions.

Core Mechanics

Dual-Energy System Every magical tool or relic draws from either Light Energy or Dark Energy. Light purifies, heals, and stabilizes structures. Dark corrupts, consumes, and bends matter to your will. Switching alignment changes item abilities, transforming a staff of restoration into a weapon of decay.

Faith & Betrayal Meter A hidden morality system tracks how you interact with relics, mobs, and the environment. Holy choices grant blessings, while darker ones unlock cursed strength. The deeper your corruption, the more likely you are to summon something that reflects your actions.

Runic Construction Building becomes a magical act. By carving runes or combining specific block types, you can create walls that heal, floating bridges, defensive barriers, or buildings that shift between dimensions. Each design channels your energy alignment — divine or infernal.

Pirate Expeditions Ghost fleets wander the oceans and the Nether, guarding their soul-forged gold. Players can attack, board, or even tame these spectral ships. Defeating their captains rewards cursed artifacts or fragments of the Infernal Compass, which points toward buried dimensions.

Major Boss Feature — The Dark Doppelganger

One of the most defining encounters in Black, Red, and Cloudy is the Dark Doppelganger, a boss born from your own reflection. It appears only when the balance between light and darkness within you becomes unstable. The fight takes place in the Eclipsed Vault, a shifting structure discovered through archaeological fragments and magical interference.

The Doppelganger mimics your weapons, armor, spells, and tactics — using everything you’ve learned against you. It fights using both divine radiance and infernal flame, summoning pirate specters, holy constructs, and cursed shadows all at once. The environment responds to the struggle: light pillars heal, black flames devour, and the ground itself fractures under your conflicting energy.

Every choice you’ve made shapes the battle. The boss’s attacks and behavior reflect your morality — builders face collapsing structures, wizards endure spell backlash, and destroyers confront endless shades of themselves.

Beating it rewards you with a scroll allowing you to summon the dark dopplegange itself.
