Classic Redux

Minecraft Classic Redux is a Quilt 1.20.1 modpack created in an effort to restore the atmosphere of Beta Minecraft in a modern environment, along with subtly improving quality of life and introducing more challenging gameplay.

• Mobs get stronger as the days pass, including rare mini-bosses and the extremely rare chance for Charged Creepers to spawn. Watch out!

• The iconic pre-1.18 world generation makes a return with its cliffs, hills and floating islands that define Minecraft's world; enhanced by the higher build limit. New structures dot the landscape too, making sure there's always something interesting to find when exploring.

• Copper now has a toolset and can be used to power beacons through donations and the pyramid base. Copper tools have efficiency similar to iron, but with very weak durability.

• A built-in resource pack completes the modpack, filling the gaps between modern additions and programmer art. Use both this pack and the programmer art pack if you don't want clashing art! Textures for copper items are WIP.

• Reach-around block placing (intended for controller but still works on keyboard)

• Sleeping makes time move faster instead of just setting the time to day
• Overhauled Ender dragon fight
• Swing weapons through plants and webs instead of breaking them
• Smarter spiders that crawl on walls and ceilings
• Sword blocking restored
