current features: :Bosses (L_Ender’s, quite disconnected from the story however) :Complex health system (Prototype: Pain) :Space travel (Cosmic Horizons) :Ships and misc vessels (Valkyrian Skies) :Technology (Create + addons) :Magic (Iron’s Spells & Spellbooks) :Combat systems (Better Combat, Simply Swords) :reworked nether and end (BetterX series) :overhauled generation (tectonic) :overhauled progression system (overgeared, and end/nether remastered) :parrying (just parry) :lots of lag (400+ mods)

:idea:| this modpack (create: microcosm) is one of my core ambitious projects, one of two. i had the idea to make this modpack during a playthrough with my day one, we were playing a fun modpack (create astral) and i thought to myself "hey, it would be cool if i did something like this" and my friend told me go for it, i already had some experience writing complex stories so it wasn't too hard writing concept ideas for it, the main issue is actualizing the ideas and, all/most you are going to see is my ambition, not the current state, but in the future i hope it will all be true

:main concept:| a atmosphere focused complex infrastructure and many rpg style progression tiers and unlike the millions of other create modpacks, it isn't purely create, and you can do other things besides progressing tech, and the magic line doesn't require a lick of create, besides the occasional SU power, and same for tech side, but technically you do have to do both to progress on the integration chapter

:gameplay:| im aiming for a complex ULTRAKILL inspired combat system with four core classes to choose from, each one having its own complex systems and weapons and long term multi week long playthroughs where each stage has its own gimmick and progression style the classes are as follows [ all classes will be included in a distant update]

:artificer: a tech focused high damage(but expensive) weaponry, but low defense as you can only wear the artificer designated armor to have weaponry function, and a large array of weapons to choose from

:arcane a magic focused decent damage large range spells with good visuals, and arena wiping capabilities, in the future i plan on adding entire domain expansions that each can eviscerate entire armies.

:ranger: a primary (A side) integration focused long distance high damage bows and guns, with traps to rig the battlefield with, and a complex mark system rewarding accuracy

:melee: a secondary (B side) integration focused high damage close range high defence weaponry, not too complex but really good for people who like to deal large amounts of damage [all of these are not implemented in the slightest, but one can dream cant he]

along with the classes, there is a equal amount of bosses to fight, along with events to defend from, and even a final boss and a ending(or two), and a complex no risk digital playfield to test out new weapons and equips and most importantly, lots of lore to learn about and a complex story brewing under the player

:ambition:| [mostly none of this is present, purely ideas right now] i already spoke a lot about the ambition, here is more i want eventually to have the core classes, you know them, and complex bosses and events to fight against, lets speak on those as you see, there is L_enders cataclysm, it is its own separate story, but eventually i would like to rewrite each boss to be more integrated into the storyline of microcosm, rewriting each boss(and hopefully) giving them cutscenes and voice lines, and custom attacks fitting the characters more, i have there personalities and lore reasons already in mind so there is that and for events, i want each one to feel like its either natural, or you are to blame for its causing, make it feel like you are a part of the story too, not a separate entity and, here is a taste of the lore "at the edge of reality, three gods were born, one of nature and the world, one of fire and the depths, and one of the cosmos and above, and after many years, they all fell, gaia did not deserve to fall to her own peoples greed, ignis fell to his own general after a revolt, and the final one, who knows. all we know is each of there deaths reshaped all that we knew, ignis with the burning of hell, gaia with the magic of the land, and, you will have to find out yourself on what the final one did upon ther falling" that is purely the surface of the story, there is so much more i am exited to let you see, and learn for yourself, there is SO much lore, thank god i have experience in writing otherwise i may be crying myself to sleep rather then posting here

:current state:| there is not much as for that i plan on having, sure there is the basics, but i want to reshape the land to fit my idea more, i am close to the feel though, it has nice looking combat and great visuals, and a complex health system mod inspired by my favorite game(casualties unknown), and the ecosystems are somewhat complex, however somewhat lacking and i even have it somewhat optimized, and all features are quite detached to one another. i know that a promise doesnt go that far, but hey, i hope you are here to see this project reach its final step, as its the journey that makes something fun, not the climax

:issues:| not many are known right now, i am making subtle steps at reaching that unobtainable goal, while it is frustrating seeing bugs pop up that i dont know how to fix, i wouldnt say im not working on fixing things, while yes this is just a potential project, things are in my favor somewhat so its not impossible, i am actively learning coding so that i can make this dream come true this modpack is specifically for forge version 1.20.1, i would have it neoforge vers 1.21.1 but i would lose out on more then i would gain
