Description
Fishbattery PvP Optimizer
A lightweight Minecraft modpack designed for competitive gameplay and PvP.
This pack focuses on reducing input delay, improving FPS stability, and removing unnecessary visual overhead to create the smoothest possible experience during combat.
It bundles well-known performance and quality-of-life mods that help improve rendering performance, reduce stuttering, and provide small gameplay improvements commonly used in PvP environments.
The modpack is maintained as the PvP preset used in the Fishbattery Launcher, ensuring players always have a fast, responsive, and up-to-date setup for competitive play.
Features
- Higher and more stable FPS during combat
- Reduced stuttering and input latency
- Cleaner visuals optimized for PvP visibility
- PvP-focused quality-of-life improvements
- Maintained for compatibility across major Minecraft versions
Intended Use
This pack can be installed like any normal modpack, but it is primarily maintained to power the PvP preset inside the Fishbattery Launcher, making it easy for players to keep their competitive setup updated automatically.
It is ideal for:
- PvP servers
- Competitive gameplay
- Minigames
- Fast-paced multiplayer environments

Shader Support (Minecraft 1.12.2 and older)
Due to licensing restrictions, OptiFine cannot be distributed through Modrinth or included directly in this pack.
If you are using Minecraft 1.12.2 or older and want to use shaders, you will need to install OptiFine manually:
- Download OptiFine from https://optifine.net/downloads
- Place the OptiFine
.jarfile into themodsfolder of your instance - Launch the game and enable shaders in the video settings
For newer Minecraft versions, shader support is handled automatically through supported mods.
Notes
Mods included in this pack remain the property of their respective authors. This pack simply bundles them to improve responsiveness, gameplay clarity, and overall PvP performance.
Forge 1.21.11 currently does not have any Sodium or Iris equivalents available, so performance improvements on that version may be more limited.
