Minecraft, but a few years into the future. Pretty much just a bunch of super vanilla friendly mods, and such.

Description

⚠️ Please use the latest version. Check the gallery for the recommended order of resource packs. As far as I know, I cannot set the controls in advance, so please set crawl to 'C' and reload shaders to 'U' for the intended experience.

Is there something you want in Minecraft that you just know that Mojang will add, but are too impatient to wait? Do you wish you could just 'Few years later' in real life? (Or, idk, just wanted some tweaks and/or cool stuff in general, that is super vanilla friendly?) Well, then this is the modpack for YOU! :DDD

This mod pack, F.Y.L.E., contains a bunch of vanilla friendly (sorta) mods, to give the fealing of "This is Minecraft, but like, 1.22 or something." I made absolutely nothing of the content.

What does this mod pack actually do, though?

Glad you asked! F.Y.L.E. currently:

  • Makes Phantoms less annoying.
  • Adds more weapons.
  • Adds more food and crops.
  • Adds mobs from the mob votes.
  • Revamps most biomes, adding even more.
  • Adds some mobs from Minecraft spin-offs.
  • A nether terrain generation revamp.
  • Makes the Ender Dragon's theme louder.
  • Increases max render distance, and adds LoDs (off by default)
  • Adds optimization.
  • Adds 2 shaders that replicate Vibrant Visuals.
  • Updates animations for both players and mobs.
  • Updates textures for crops, pots, music discs, shadows, programmer art, doors, trimmed armor, and more.
  • Adds variated block textures.
  • Adds more pixel consistancy.
  • Adds more villager sounds.
  • Adds eating animations
  • Revamps weather, both visually and audibly.
  • Adds more particle effects, but not so many that it'll make you suffocate. I'm looking at you, pal. |: |
  • Adds toggle-able armor stand arms.
  • Adds more mob variants.
  • Smoothens scrolling (you'll know what I mean).
  • Adds cake eating sounds.
  • Makes full chiseled bookshelves work with enchanting tables.
  • Adds the ability to crawl without trapdoors and etc.
  • Adds rooted dirt recipe.
  • Adds copper fire.
  • Lets bubble columns go through copper grates.
  • Makes crops grow more during rains.
  • Lets you change paintings my right clicking them.
  • Adds potion of darkness.
  • Makes elytra flight more fun. :)
  • Lets you type emojis.
  • Adds more tooltips for items with entities.
  • Makes jungle saplings as common as every other sapling.
  • Makes the xp bar different (I have no clue whats different, I kid you not, but just roll with it).
  • Makes falling leaves better.
  • Visually updates random server stuff I'm too lazy to describe.
  • Updates horses.
  • Adds slabs, stairs, and walls for concrete and terracotta.
  • Adds dynamic lights.
  • Updates slimes.
  • Makes bubbles pop.
  • Makes potions stack-able.
  • Makes vines able stop growing when you right click them with shears.
  • Make souls fire, uh, soul fire-er.
  • Makes pigs wear a crown when named Technoblade. o7
  • Makes fire charges throw-able, like wind charges.
  • Makes it so some villagers can repair iron golems or healother villagers.
  • Fixes bugs.
  • Adds the ability to lower the fire overlay.
  • Adds emotes.

  • Adds more Christmas chests! :DDDDD

  • Increases max chat history.
  • Makes block entities able to be pushed by pistons, like on Bedrock edition.
  • Makes the mouse curser more Mincrafty.
  • Gives you the ability to tell wandering traders to go away.
  • Makes potions stackable.
  • Adds a fews mobs from Minecraft Earth.
  • Adds tons of sound effects.
  • Adds a bar under effect icons to see how long until it wares off without going into your inventory.

  • Revamps advancement GUI.

  • Adds fairly simple footprints.
  • Adds illusioners.
  • Adds mob vote losers.
  • Does whatever else I missed.

And, there's even more to come! Oh boy. ._.

The latest version of F.Y.L.E. contains the following:

Mods
Resource Packs
Shaders
Disabled

These projects are disabled for a variety of reasons. Mainly, they either were just not vanilla enough for my standards, but too cool to remove entirely, or simply don't currently work and are awaiting updates. Enable them, if you want.

QnA

What does the "E" in F.Y.L.E. mean?

Ellipsis, aka the "…".

Why do you keep adding mods that are disabled?

I don't know.

Could you update the modpack to this newer version?

If this hasn't happened yet, unfortunately, a bunch of what I consider the main mods aren't available for said version. Not doing snapshots, btw, only full releases.

Could you backport to 1.X?

No. As the description says, this is meant to feel like you are playing a version that shouldn't come out for another 6 to 7 years, for example. Backporting would mean less official Mojang content and changes, and therefore going against the idea.

Why won't my world load?

Disable Yung's Api, and any mods depedant on it. If this doesn't work, or you don't have the mod/have it already disabled, idk lol gl ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Why did my world randomly crash?

Remove Polymer Patch for Friends&Foes. If this doesn't work, or have it already removed, once again idk lol.

Can I use this mod pack for _?

Do whatever ya want with this, as long as you leave credit.

There's Chocolate, Raspberry, and even Caramel. What flavor would your mod pack be?

Cookies & Cream. This is the Cookies & Cream mod pack.
