Llucian’s Minecraft Overhaul

This is a modpack that aims in challenging, an adventure and RPG progression, focusing in simplicity and balancing.

What is Llucian's Overhaul?

This is a modpack that focuses in progression and in adventure, with a bit of difficulty and several balancing. The purpose of this mod is to be a simple, but RPG-like modpack, with the possibility of take a mission in a chest, with the Taverns (similar to other RPG games, which you take missions and explore the world), But, unfortunately, is not so complete as Aron's Adventure, which you can talk to NPCs... But it have all the rest!

Levels and Stats

This modpack contains leveling/stats mods, such as TieredZ and LevelZ, that compose the leveling and random stats features of the modpack. More info below.

Modpack bases?

This modpack used as a base another modpack here in modrinth, called Modlingo’s Perfect Minecraft. It was a vanilla+ modpack, but i changed it’s base to another, called “SMP Optimized”, removing the Replay Mod and essential mod too, for keybinds overrides reasons.
(Server optimizing mod added, for optimization needs.)

Advices

I advice you to check the levelZ status, upgrade mining and strength first and kill too much mobs, several mobs. Just by doing this you can progress in the modpack. The tectonic datapack change a little the world generation and caves, but don’t change the biomes, so you can continue exploring and see beautiful landscapes.

Take care to the difficulty, the Majrusz's Difficulty mod is not so easy as you think! The mobs walk in groups! And as you progresses, the things take more difficult to you! Well, happily, the jockey still much rare in the game (But that's the least of your problems).

For the survival, you can just search for a village, with this modpack, you can even found these villages in swamps or jungles! With a compatibility layer with Farmer’s Delight. Remember it: You can also found one village in the mountains!

Skill based

Okay, changing a bit the things here. LevelZ is not an easy mod. You’ll have to upgrade your levels constantly, by killing mobs and even pacific mobs to continue leveling up. By doing this you can upgrading your skills, such mining skill, up to level 4, to reach the stone level. I recommend to upgrade the strenght/defense and mining simultaneously, at least upgrading 1 level of defense and continuing this. So, you can use leather armor, mine more blocks, even gravel, and use more swords.

Origins and classes

Thinking about this thing, i just tested legendary origins and this fits perfectly in my modpack, maybe making it a little bit more easy, but you will die some times, this is fact. I must to say i’ll test some other addons of origins to see what of these will be better to the modpack.

Update note (Upnote): I will not use nor Extra Origins or other addon, even Origins Classes. Legendary Origins is simply awesome.

Extra tools

Now it is reality. You will have much more ores to search and expand your progression: Copper, rose gold, some other ores... and even amethyst! With the little addition of End Reborn, that will change everything.

But now we have simply swords... and since always we had the Medieval Weapons. ...Well, that's such a nice thing, Simply Swords + Mythic Metals, more info in the next updates.

Cooking and farming

The modpack contains the mod Farmer’s Delight, which has tons of food, pots and different crops! You can cook with that, plant more things and also eat delicious food!
Compatibility with ChoiceTheorem’s mod is already included.

End Remastered

End Remastered remasters you journey into the end, making you to search for 12 different eyes and crafting some of them. Some of these are special drops from mobs or simply chest loots. Also the End Reborn will change the bosses progression too.

End Reborn

This section will be remade to talk about end reborn. Here will be more progression, such as new armors with slight differences and some new ores, the warden fight will not be so overwhelming, because there are these armors and equipments that will be pretty useful. It's that. I'll update this when i get more info.

Mininum specs

In every test i made, in few times the modpack stay stable for me, i think the optimizations of the mods don’t work for me, using an ryzen 3 w/ 2 cores and 4 threads. Well, even allocating more RAM or installing a server optimization mod, this just don’t work. So i think the optimizations just don’t work as well. Well, i hope this will be different for you, downloading the modpack, so, have fun, and don’t play several hours of it.

• Any CPU newer than 2016/2020 or supporting sodium
• at least 4 GB of RAM allocated, maybe 6/8 GB will be necessary.
• At least 256GB HDD or SSD. SSD recommended
