Step back into a world where horror is simple, raw, and unmistakably nostalgic.

Simply Horror aims to make Minecraft feel almost like an analog horror video. This modpack includes a stamina system, which requires you sleep and manage your time wisely. It also includes a temperature system, leading to a more intense and harder experience. With sound physics, the caves feel real and every sound echoes. A flint age ensures your first day is spent struggling to survive. A thirst system also drastically increases the difficulty, leading to a much harder experience when combied with the previously mentioned features. A locational health system (very much akin to RLCraft) makes combat and any kind of damaging activities much more dangerous, especially with creatures wandering about. VR is also available and downloaded with the modpack. Simply launch steam VR, connect to your PC, and check the box on the main menu in Minecraft to turn on VR.

This modpack also has a special shader that gives the game a very pixelated and analog feel. I have tweaked the settings myself to give a better experience when playing. The stamina hud in previous versions was also very large, so I have tweaked it for a better experience, along with the harder health system.

Finally, once you have a base and are feeling comfortable, the monsters begin wandering. The cave dweller wanders the underground and surface, along with one more mysterious creature waiting to be discovered by you. I sincerely hope you enjoy.

(Note: Past versions may have a lack of features, and also many may not include: health system, stamina, normal worldgen. FYI, don't use old versions if you want the full intended experience. Past versions also include a fully-winter world, with Man From the Fog. Past versions may also be unstable, so play at your own risk.)
