About

Description

Modified version of Better Adventures+

Better Adventures+ is a very good and well made modpack, but as you most likely know, the creator of the modpack (flowstate) as a NASA PC, which means he doesn't require performance mods like me and some others to run the modpack smoothly. This modpack aims to hopefully boost performance for the modpack by about 2 times (Benchmark at the bottom of the description).

Changes include: Disabling every resource pack that changes textures dramatically (not fresh animations), Changed sodium settings to be on the lowest settings possible without making the game look terrible. If you think your computer can handle the max resource packs and other things, feel free to bump everything up. This modpack is built for the people that really really need it.

Enjoy the Modpack!

Original Modpack Description

We all love Minecraft, but it can get a bit stale at times. This modpack contains over 100 mods that will enhance the Vanilla experience.

You will find dozens of quality of life mods, visual changes, added ambience, and more, which will breathe life into your worlds and builds. Take a look at some of the highlight features:

  • 🌍 Dozens of new biomes and overhauled terrain across all dimensions

  • 🛠️ A full job system with 10 professions, unique perks, and specialized tools

  • 🎒 Quality-of-life improvements like inventory sorting, audio ambience, and backpacks

  • 🧱 Just enough new building blocks that feel fresh without overwhelming you

  • 🌅 Breathtaking visuals via Eclipse shaders and Voxy LODs

  • 🏰 Hundreds of new structures to discover and explore throughout the world

  • 🗺️ Axiom & WorldEdit included for creative builders and large-scale projects

  • ✨ New animations for mobs and the player, bringing the world to life

FAQ:

How do I improve performance when playing this modpack?

  • Reducing shader quality settings or outright disabling shaders can help immensely, or disabling Voxy rendering. BA+ is a very lightweight modpack besides these two features, which are both clientsided meaning you can disable them if it is too taxing on your computer.

Is there a server-sided only version of this modpack that I can use for my server?

  • Not currently, but BA+ has been specifically designed to use on the FlowSMP which is a multiplayer server operated by flowstate. Check out flowstate's Discord if you are interested.

  • My camera is floaty, how do I fix this?

You probably hit Y, which is the default key for cinematic camera

How do I toggle the first person model off/how do I go into third person mode?

  • F6 and X, respectively
