About

Description

This modpack focuses on enhancing Minecraft and giving it features, it is otherwise lacking that fully works clientside (so you can use it on Vanilla Servers too). Like a Map mod with a minimap and waypoints or being able to move while being in inventory (which is great in survival gamemodes) or just simply being able to zoom into the distance. So this is really about enhancing functionality with a sprinkle of aesthetically pleasing animations and mid tier shaders. So this is really for people that started playing on vanilla Minecraft, but don't want to lose the cool functionality of otherwise existant mods in many modpacks!

What's different?

Aside from performance and minor bug fixes, it's insane how many great clientside mods exist that don't feel too disruptive for Vanilla Minecraft.

Movement

  • You can move freely and even autocrouch when on vines or ladder in inventory

  • You see your pitch when flying with the elytra and even have the option to lock the optimal pitches for rocket boosts and distance.

  • Disabled by default, but you could (like a horse) step up one block without losing your sprint. (Toggle with F12)

Quality of Life changes

  • You have a minimap with waypoints.

  • You can search for items from your storage (opened chests).

  • You can click through signs and itemframes that are attached to - storage.

  • Your inventory switches to the right tool for your terraforming desires.

  • You can just rightclick through your farm to only break mature crop.

  • Screenshot = Clipboard for them non-existant discord friends.

  • When in the dark with no torch, click V for sun porch. 🎵

  • You have Litematica which is a godsent when it comes to building your castle (Access through CTRL + X instead of M; Tutorial here)

Aesthetics

  • Aside from different animations in a variety of aspects:

  • Darkmode. Yes.

  • Borderless glass. Yes.

  • You can get any resourcepack you desire in-game.

  • When in nature, you hear peace. 👌

There are Shaders though disabled by default:

  • superDuperVanilla (by Eldeston) is a somewhat light shader while looking quite dandy.

  • AstraLex (by LexBoosT) has a lot more to offer, but needs to be backed up with the hardware for it. It also includes emissive ores which is mwah chefs kiss :3

Conclusion

Of course I can't name everything since this has a bit more than 100 mods installed though it runs butter smooth with the (for me) most useful clientside mods this world has to offer. Disagree? You can write an issue or feedback. Oh wait, you can't cause I haven't set it up? Well, I'll never know and live in bliss then 👾

Caution By default, you can move even when your inventory is on. And if you look something up in Roughly Enough Items, you might get yourself in danger (especially in the nether). Just Press **F11** to toggle it.

When dying, the map mod puts a waypoint on your last death. Quite useful feature. But if you die again on the way to your initial death, this gets overridden. Keep that in mind.

The Mod Switcheroo switches your tools according to the material you're punching, but also if you're attacking someone. If you attack anything with the wrong tool, the inital attack does pratically no damage. A good thing, so it can't be abused in pvp. = For combat, switch to your weapon manually :)
