About

Description

Something is terribly wrong. The world feels twisted, unfamiliar—like it's hiding something. Shadows move when you aren't looking, whispers fill the silence, and the once-familiar landscape now seems foreign, distorted. You’ve been here before, but it’s different now. Someone or something is lurking, watching from the darkness. Who—or what—could it be?

The deeper you go, the more unsettling it becomes. Every step you take feels like a mistake, but turning back isn't an option anymore. The air grows thick, the ground trembles beneath your feet, and your senses scream that you’re not alone. Eyes that aren’t your own watch your every move. You swear something is following you, but when you turn around—nothing.

The world wasn’t always this way. Once, it was vibrant and full of life. There were kingdoms, bustling villages, and forests teeming with creatures. But something changed. A curse? An unseen force? Whatever it was, it corrupted everything it touched. Slowly, at first—so slowly that no one noticed until it was too late. Villages grew silent, the laughter of children faded, and soon, the forests became devoid of life. The creatures that once roamed freely now lurk in the shadows, twisted by the malevolent force.

You are not the first to wander these lands, and you won't be the last. Stories speak of those who came before you, drawn by the same pull. Some sought answers, some sought power, and some... sought escape. But none returned. Their fate is a mystery—perhaps they found what they were looking for, or perhaps they became part of the very thing they feared. Will you be different?

The journey ahead is not for the faint of heart. As you explore the ruins of once-great civilizations, you'll uncover fragments of a forgotten past. Ancient texts speak of rituals long since banned, forbidden magic, and beings that were never meant to walk this earth. There are hints—clues, even—that suggest a way to reverse the corruption. But is it worth the risk?

Every corner of this world holds a secret, and every secret comes with a cost. The deeper you dig, the more you will begin to question your own sanity. Reality itself seems to shift the further you travel. One moment, you’re in a dark, crumbling dungeon; the next, you find yourself in a lush, overgrown meadow with no recollection of how you got there. Time flows differently here, as if the world itself is alive, toying with you, bending to its own will.

The creatures you face aren’t the only dangers. Your mind is your worst enemy. The longer you stay, the more the world begins to warp around you. You’ll hear things—voices whispering your name, footsteps echoing when no one is there. Shadows take on shapes that shouldn’t exist. The air grows colder the closer you get to the truth. What once seemed like simple ruins become elaborate labyrinths, designed to trap the unwary traveler.

There are those who will try to help you—strange figures, their faces obscured, offering cryptic advice and half-truths. But can you trust them? Some say they were once like you, lost in the endless maze, until they became something else. Now they linger, neither alive nor dead, bound to the cursed land. Their words may guide you, or they may lead you deeper into the dark.

Your tools, your weapons, your wits—none of them will prepare you for what’s coming. The world itself seems determined to stop you. Storms rage without warning, blocking your path. Creatures that shouldn’t exist appear in the dead of night, hunting you down with an eerie intelligence. Even the ground beneath your feet feels treacherous, shifting like quicksand, threatening to pull you under if you stray too far.

And then there are the doors. Scattered throughout the world, these ancient, weathered doors appear in the most unexpected places. Some lead to safety, others to certain doom. They shift, they move, and sometimes, they disappear altogether. What lies behind them? Only those brave—or foolish—enough to open them will find out.

The further you travel, the more you’ll begin to understand: this world is alive, and it doesn’t want you here. But why? What secrets is it hiding? Why was this place abandoned, and who—or what—still lurks in the shadows, pulling the strings? The answers may be more than you can handle.

But you must keep moving. If you stop, it will find you. And if it finds you, there will be no escape. Every day, every hour, it gets closer. You can feel it watching, waiting for you to slip. What is it? The legends speak of a creature, a being born from the corruption itself, feeding on fear, on hope, on life. Some say it was once human. Others believe it is the embodiment of the curse. But no one knows for sure, because no one who has seen it has lived to tell the tale.

You will hear its voice, soon enough. In the dead of night, when all is still, when you think you’re safe—that’s when it will come. Its whispers will slip into your dreams, twisting them into nightmares. And when you wake, you will know: it’s only a matter of time. It always finds you.

But there is hope—a flicker in the dark. There are rumors of a way to break the cycle, to lift the curse, to banish the being that haunts this world. But the path is treacherous, and few have the strength to see it through. Will you be the one to succeed, or will you, too, become another lost soul, trapped in the endless night?

This is your story, but it is also theirs. Those who came before you, those who failed, those who vanished without a trace. They are still here, their voices echoing in the wind, their footsteps haunting the ground you walk on. You are not alone, but that may not be a comfort.

The question remains: how far will you go to uncover the truth? How much are you willing to sacrifice? Because in the end, the truth may be worse than the lies you’ve been told. And once you see it, there’s no turning back.
