Vanilla+ --> Vanilla²
Ever wonder why we boot up singleplayer worlds and inevitably delete or abandon them only a few days or even hours later? I don't have the old appeal of Minecraft anymore knowing most of the recipes, how to make autofarms and mob farms, knowing exact places loot will be in a structure, and more headaches that make the game repetitive. Squared² aims to fix the repetition!
An idea of Squared² 💡
Squared² is a medium-to-large sized adventure mod that enhances the game's mechanics, adds forgotten mobs, items, and recipes with structure mods such as Geophilic which amplifies the Vanilla biomes in a very unique way for exploration as well as keeping the Vanilla feel while still being a bit of a change. Squared² also has Friends&Foes and a few other mods that bring back old items and mobs that were in Minecraft, featured in mob votes, or talked about in the forums and were forgotten or abandoned so that everyone's dreams of what could have been can be free without heartbreak!
Current Features in v2.4.2
Galosphere
This mod offers 2 new cave biomes like the Lichen Cave and Crystal Canyons as well as the Sparkle and Spectre mobs. There's also tons of new items, trinkets, and tools as well as an armor trim addon!
Structures & Generation
Geophilic produces a beautiful Vanilla+ generation plus a ton of new structure mods including Vanilla style structures for more biomes, a Desert and Badlands overhaul, Archeology overhaul, Quark, and more!
Quark
Quark is a highly configurable mod with a ton of features like new trees, mobs, tools, machines, and so much more to offer!
Husbandry
Lots of animals to breed, crops to farm, and so many delicious food items to explore with achievements! Farmer's Delight + addons, Quark, and a few other mods add tons of new cooking items, mob drops, and more!
Quality of Life
With some optimization mods, Quark, Better Bundles, inventory sorting, and more, your adventures will go quicker and much easier so you're not feeling tedious
Essential Mod
The Essential mod allows you to do lots of things like: Adding friends, saving screenshots (as well as editing, favouriting, and sharing them), messaging friends and making group chats, embedding photos from links into messages, , inviting friends to servers, creating peer-to-peer singleplayer worlds for your friends to join who have the Essential mod! Use it to play this modpack with your friends!
Expansion Packs
This modpack genuinely feels like a newer Minecraft to me and adding onto it has been fairly easy in my experience. Right now, there are 3 expansion packs that you can download and try right now in this Collection. Alternatively, you can beta test untested future expansions in versions!
List of Expansions
- Brilliant Minds WIP: The Technology Expansion with a heavy focus on Create and Ad Astra with MANY additions like structures, mod compatabilities with Create, and a ton of new planets to explore!
- Dimension Expension: A dimensional breakthrough with overhauls to the Nether, Caves, End, and adds new dimensions like the Bumblezone, The Aether, and Dimsensional Dungeons!
- Midnight DLC WIP: A scary-style modpack that offers a wide range of hardcore-esque features like horde-modes, eclipses, creatures in the dark, and maybe a biblically accurate Herobrine?
- Cobblemon WIP: A cozy Cobblemon modpack with a TON of addons for a true Minecraft x Pokemon feel!
Please note that none of these expansions have been played by me extensively passed testing and are still in beta form, if it's in Release, it means I have played it and will continue to update it. However, some expansions may be removed later

Take it from me!
I play this modpack pretty frequently and continue on 3 worlds, each of them very different from the last with different ideas. As someone who has made "longterm" singleplayer worlds at least 5 times a year for 10 years, this modpack gets addicting I actually give myself goals like adventuring again, learn new mods to advance in the mod itself, and do little things that normally don't do just because I'm actually having fun again. The mods I chose in this are perfect and I plan to do more with it!

Patchouli Book
Helps players who don't know what they're doing with certain mods with a guidebook
DLC Collection
Planning on uploading all of the DLC seperately when they're in full release and build a collection with them all. Currently working on this, although since none of them are updated nor verified, it'll be awhile. See the collection here for now!
Custom Things
Hoping to make a small resource pack for the modpack for the main menu and such.
Adding 1.21 Items
When there's a mod for 1.20.1 I find, I WILL update the modpack immediately. For now, you may be able to use the official 1.21 datapack for 1.20.4 although this is untested...
More Expansions (DLC)
I'm currently working on a second modpack with all of the same mods, only with more dimensions and a Nether/End overhaul as a 'Dimension Expension' and plan to do more things similar to this as seperate downloads for each version or seperate versions altogether in this project's list.
