TDSMP - Time Dimension SMP

What to Expect

The modpack contains about 250 mods and runs on 1.20.1 Forge. As such, the modpack tends to be demanding on computer resources. This modpack may not be ideal for computers that struggle to run huge modpacks.

Lore

The Timekeeper is a godlike entity that traverses through the past and present, overseeing the main timeline. The Timekeeper can adjust the past to create the ideal main timeline in their perspective, leading to the timelines to branch and split. With several timelines being maintained at once, the main timeline is their main focus, and is constantly changing.

The Timekeeper's main flaw, however, is that they cannot travel into the future. They are stuck in real time. As such, there is a huge desire to try and make everything predictable, but it becomes difficult with random events. Despite constant attempts at divine intervention, it’s almost impossible to create a timeline that is predictable.

Years ago, the Timekeeper created the Time Dimension, a pocket timeline entirely created by the Timekeeper, inhabited by entities that live within. Over time, the Timekeeper adjusted this dimension to best suit the needs of a new experiment that could help find answers to creating a predictable timeline.

The idea then is to grab individuals from several different time periods to study how they face new and unique circumstances, and how random events and casualties can occur from humanity. All individuals are placed in a world that is entirely maintained by the Timekeeper. The Timekeeper cannot control the interactions between the citizens, entities, and world, but accepts this as part of the study. 

When starting about a year ago, Timekeeper selected a small handful of citizens from the past to bring to the Time Dimension, testing the waters. Some have disappeared. Some have died. Only few remain, completely different from who they once were. The Timekeeper ultimately ruled the test as a success, but seems to acknowledge the chaos caused.

Now, in the year 2025, the Timekeeper brings in a whole new wave of citizens into the Time Dimension, and has sought out to connect the dimensions. With more interactions between the citizens, entities, and dimensions, with the prospect of artifacts and magic, the Timekeeper watches on to record the results.
