Description
This Minecraft horror modpack is made to feel like found footage, like something you’re not really supposed to be seeing.
At the start it just feels like normal Minecraft. You spawn in, chop wood, mine a bit, build maybe a small base. Nothing weird at first. You could almost forget it’s meant to be horror.
But after a while, small things start to feel off. Not in a loud or obvious way. More like you notice something and then instantly doubt yourself. A sound you didn’t place. A shape in the distance you’re not sure was always there. A cave that feels just a bit too quiet. Stuff like that.
There are no real jumpscares. Nothing jumps at you out of nowhere. The modpack doesn’t rely on that at all. It’s more about the feeling that something is there, even when you can’t prove it.
And the main thing is: you feel watched.
Not constantly in your face, just… present. Like every now and then you stop what you’re doing for no reason and look around. Like something might be just out of sight, but never quite showing itself. Sometimes it feels like the world reacts a bit too late, or like it remembers where you were a second ago.
There’s no story that gets explained to you. No NPCs telling you what’s going on. You just play, explore, and slowly start connecting things on your own. Or maybe you don’t, and you’re just left with questions.
It’s still Minecraft, but it stops feeling safe the longer you stay in it.
