Overview
A night-focused survival horror phycological experience that makes the Overworld feel watched. The darkness reacts to your chosen intensity with unsettling sounds, disorienting darkness, and rare moments of panic.
Features
A configurable horror intensity from 0 to 10.
Nighttime ambient scares that grow more frequent and threatening at higher intensity.
Sudden darkness and movement-slowing effects for high-intensity play.
The Whispering Eye artifact, which briefly grants night vision while raising the holder's personal horror intensity.
Multiplayer-friendly server controls and atmosphere.
How To Use
Use /horror status to view the current intensity and survivor count. Use /horror set <0-10> to change the shared intensity; zero disables nighttime scares. The Whispering Eye can be used from the main hand when available.
Tips And Tricks
Start at a low intensity while exploring caves, then raise it for a dangerous night expedition. Keep the volume on and do not assume a sound means a mob is nearby.
Known Limitations
The mod provides atmospheric horror rather than a collection of every third-party CurseForge mod. It does not add external mod content, scripted structures, or custom entities.
