Description

Abandoned Roads adds... Abandoned roads! Anyone building a non-medieval modpack may have come across this issue: The worldgen is too natural and untouched. That's why I present to you: A mod that adds a brand new structure to the game, which will greatly enhance the immersion. What are these mysterious vehicles? Who built them? Why are they abandoned? That's up to you to decide.

Content Overview: This mod adds one structure that is randomly generated which means each structure will be different. Besides the structure it adds no physical content, it simply serves the purpose of filling the gap of non-medieval worldgen. As for the technical content (this part is only relevant to modpack makers), it adds a single biome tag that decides where the structure should spawn: "roadsmod:road_structure_biomes". The loot in the structure uses vanilla loottables.

Future plans: First I'll add new road variants and new vehicles. Then when the mod is content-rich enough, modloader/version coverage will be expanded.

FAQ:

Will you update your older mods? No, I no longer have the project files and they're too outdated. I'll only keep them up for whoever still wants to download those older mods.

When can we expect new versions? Whenever I feel like updating it. Because it's just a structure, maintaining it is extremely easy.

Does the use of MCreator impact the mod quality? The structure is made using vanilla-features, like structures and jigsaw blocks. MCreator helped by giving a user-friendly interface to manage the structure. There is zero loss of quality by using MCreator. And besides, MCreator nowadays has massively improved their code and performance.

When can we expect new versions? Whenever I feel like updating it. Because it's just a structure, maintaining it is extremely easy.
