Is the meta behind efficient food use getting you down?
Does eating that reward food from the dungeon feel wasteful?
Have multiple strong food items that you do not want to use to top your bars off?
This is a mod I made for myself to have an available overflow pool for hunger and saturation that will tick down to refill your bars. While not particularly novel or unique, I feel I cannot be the only person in the world who would like this feature.
It works by checking for excess hunger / saturation restoration from food when eaten and stores the difference. Every few player ticks, it will check to see if you are missing any hunger or saturation, and if you are it will remove one point from the pool to refill the respective bar.
Mod configuration is now handled via server config toml file instead of game rules. Install a mod such as Configured for easy operation.
Inspired by the fabric mod Saturation Plus
