About

Description

Mod Overview: This mod introduces fun double jump and dash mechanics

Massive Rework: The double jump has received a complete overhaul, and we've added a new dash mechanic. You can activate the dash using the left Alt key, and the keybind can be configured in the settings.

Features:

  • Double Jump: Jump while in the air to perform a double jump. This resets all fall damage, allowing you to cleverly avoid taking damage from falls.
  • Dash Mechanic: Press the left Alt key to dash. The dash responds dynamically to your movement speed, enabling you to cover varying distances based on how fast you are moving.
  • Ghost Trail: While dashing or double jumping, a ghostly trail is rendered behind you, visually marking the path you take.
  • Intuitive Movement: Both abilities are designed for fun movement and integrate smoothly with the existing Minecraft mechanics, responding dynamically to how you move.
  • Skill Cap: Both abilites are designed to have a skill cap aspect to them - there are alot of quirky intentionally introduced mechanics to limit and test how the player would use the given abilities. Test it yourself and have fun!

This mod is part of my custom survival modpack, and I may add more mods in the future.

FAQs:

  • Can you use this mod in a modpack? Yes, you can! Just remember to provide appropriate credit.
