About

Description

Advance Repair is a gameplay-focused Minecraft mod that completely reimagines how item repairing works in anvils. Instead of relying only on vanilla repair materials, this mod introduces a flexible and balanced repair system where different materials can be used to repair various armor and tools with custom efficiency values.

For issue come here

The core idea of the mod is to give players more freedom and strategic choices when repairing gear. For example, Netherite armor can be repaired using diamonds, iron, or gold, each restoring a different percentage of durability. Diamond gear can be repaired using iron or gold, while iron equipment can be repaired using gold. Leather armor can be repaired normally with leather, and chainmail armor can be repaired using chains or iron ingots.

Each material provides a different repair efficiency, making some options stronger but more expensive, while others are weaker but easier to obtain. This creates a more dynamic progression system and reduces the dependency on rare resources without completely removing their value.

The mod also introduces a custom experience (XP) cost system for repairing items. The XP cost depends on the condition of the item:

- Normal items have a low XP cost

- Trimmed items cost slightly more

- Enchanted items cost more

- Items that are both trimmed and enchanted have the highest cost

This ensures that powerful and customized gear still requires meaningful investment to maintain, while keeping repairs accessible in survival and hardcore gameplay.

To improve usability, the mod adds in-game tooltips that display repair options and efficiency directly on items. Players can see which materials can be used and how effective they are without needing external guides, making the system intuitive and user-friendly.

Features:

- Custom repair system for armor and tools

- Multiple repair materials per item type

- Balanced durability restoration percentages

- XP cost scaling based on enchantments and trims

- Support for Netherite, Diamond, Iron, Leather, and Chainmail

- Chain-based repair for chainmail armor

- In-game tooltips showing repair methods and values

- Designed for flexibility and future expansion across versions and mod loaders

Advance Repair focuses on enhancing survival gameplay by making repairing more flexible, balanced, and engaging. It is lightweight, does not add new items, and integrates seamlessly with the vanilla experience while leaving room for future improvements and compatibility updates.

Advance Repair is perfect for players who want more control over their gear maintenance while keeping the game balanced and immersive.
