Description
AE2 Crafting CPU Box
One block instead of a huge crafting CPU multiblock for Applied Energistics 2.
What it does
The Crafting CPU Box replaces the big crafting CPU structure from AE2. Instead of building a cube out of crafting storages and co-processing units, you put those blocks inside the box, and your ME network sees it as a normal crafting CPU, exactly as if the blocks were placed next to each other. Your whole autocrafting setup fits into a single block.
How it works
- Place the Crafting CPU Box and connect it to your ME network with a cable. It connects even when empty.
- Right-click to open it. The interface has two sections with 16 slots each: crafting storages on the left, co-processing units on the right. Each section only accepts its own kind of block, and shift-click sorts them automatically.
- The bytes of all storages and the threads of all co-processors add up into one crafting CPU. There is no 16-thread limit: add as many co-processors as you want.
- The CPU appears in the network as soon as at least one crafting storage is inside.
- Sneak + right-click opens the standard AE2 crafting CPU screen, where you can see the current job and cancel it.
Features
- Totals shown in each section header: total bytes and thread count
- Status badge: Empty, No power, Online or Crafting
- Contents are locked while a job is running, so a craft never gets cancelled by accident
- Breaking the box drops everything inside
- Placed next to regular AE2 crafting units, it merges with them into one CPU
- Works with crafting storages and co-processors from addons like MEGA Cells
- Jade support: hover over the box to see its bytes, threads and CPU status
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1: Forge 47+ and Applied Energistics 2 15.x
- Minecraft 1.19.2: Forge 43+ and Applied Energistics 2 12.x
- Jade is optional
Available in English and Russian.
