Overview
Applied Energistics: Crystal Science (AECS) is an addon for Applied Energistics 2 that brings back the Purified Crystal concept and builds a full progression around it.
With a production chain of Dust → Seeds → Growth and dedicated machines (Grindstone / Pulverizer / Growth Chamber / Aggregator), you can mass-produce purified crystals for mid-to-late game crafting and energy generation.
On the other side, AECS adds stronger pattern execution and wireless channel solutions (Meteorite/Resonating Pattern Providers, Ender Emitter & Ender Broadcaster) to build more powerful automation.

Ender / Meteorite / Resonating toolsets.
3) Machine Side Configuration
Configure each face for input/output/bidirectional/disabled, and automate import/export behavior.
4) Quartz Grindstone
Kickstart dust production with a simple, low-tech grinder.
5) Crystal Pulverizer
Higher throughput crushing with automation-friendly IO and upgrades.
6) Crystal Growth Chamber
Grow stacks of seeds in parallel—built for scaling and speed upgrades.
7) Crystal Aggregator
A central machine for key recipes and high-efficiency seed scaling.
8) Circuit Etcher
Simplifies processor crafting by consolidating steps into a dedicated machine.
9) Meteorite Pattern Provider
Processes crafting patterns internally and provides 63 pattern slots for large-scale automation.
10) Resonating Pattern System
Assign per-ingredient destinations/sides for advanced routing and complex factories.
11) Ender Broadcaster
A wireless channel system that centralizes channel management and allocates channels on demand.
12) Ender Emitter
Automatically links nearby ME devices to your network for cleaner wiring and reduced cabling.
