About

Description

Our mod adds a bunch of blocks, mostly for decoration because it is in early development. Enjoy!

๐Ÿ“– Contents:

Our mod is mostly focused on a new dimension called Aelfheim. Currently, there is no way to get into Aelfheim in survival mode, you have to use a command /execute in aelven_expansion:aelfheim run tp ~ ~ ~. At the moment our mod only has many blocks, some features and structures, and one unfinished mob. But we plan on adding more magical creatures, places, and items, and making it accessible in survival. Some features are somewhat half-baked for now and is still being worked on.

Some of the main features of Aelfheim are its Biomes:

  • Chalk Peaks, with a thick layer of chalk dust on the surface, and chitta underneath.
  • Silverblood Rise, a forest of slanted trees and flowers matching the trees.
  • Moon Fir Wilds, a darker variant of Silverblood Rise.
  • Drystone Plains, a desolate land made of drystone and chipstone gravel, with spires of chipstone jutting out of the ground, slashes of chipstone through the ground, and scattered spots of petrified trees and plants.
  • Peachgrove Swamp, a swamp of trees with thick trunks and round leaves and flowers that match, the ground covered in a mix of mud and mulch, and mudstone underneath.
  • Hydosatin Forest, a fungus forest submerged in water, the fungus tree made of a thick trunk and large round cap, the ground made of jadegrass nylium with hydrojade underneath, and the ground sparsely covered with jadegrass, hydrosatin sprouts, and luminescent kelp.

If you are a builder, you may appreciate knowing about our beam and stripped beam blocks that have variations for each vanilla wood and fungus type along with each one added in this mod, and our shingles blocks with 16 color variants and stair, slab, and wall blocks as well.

More info can soon be found on the wiki, which is currently under development.
