Description

AetherForge

AetherForge is a fair-play Minecraft 1.8.9 PvP client built on Forge. It provides quality-of-life, visual, and performance enhancements only — no cheats, no combat advantages.

Requirements

  • Java 8 JDK
  • Minecraft 1.8.9
  • Forge 11.15.1.2318-1.8.9

Build

gradle setupDecompWorkspace
gradle build

Output JAR: build/libs/AetherForge-1.0.0.jar

Launcher

A branded desktop launcher is included in launcher/. Build everything with:

build-launcher.bat

Then run:

java -jar launcher\dist\AetherForge-Launcher.jar

See launcher/README.md for setup and distribution details.

Place the mod JAR (AetherForge-1.0.0.jar) in the same folder as the launcher JAR.

Place the JAR in your .minecraft/mods folder alongside Forge 1.8.9.

Default Keybinds

H Toggle Hitboxes

All keybinds are rebindable under Options → Controls → AetherForge.

Configuration

  • Main config: config/aetherforge.cfg
  • HUD layout: config/aetherforge/hud_layout.json

Fair-Play Policy

AetherForge strictly prohibits:

  • Reach, velocity, or hitbox modifications
  • Aim assist, auto-click, or ESP
  • X-ray, fly, speed, or inventory hacks

All features are client-side visual/QoL only and do not alter server-side gameplay.
