About

Description

AFK Player Timer is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that displays an AFK timer above players once they stop moving or interacting.

The mod tracks player inactivity using movement and camera activity as the main indicator. When a player stays inactive for the configured amount of time, an AFK timer appears above their head, making it easy to see how long they have been away.

AFK Player Timer also includes optional activity indicators for inventory interaction, mouse clicks, item use, and chat messages. These can be enabled depending on how strictly you want the mod to detect player activity.

The timer delay is configurable from 1 to 60 seconds, so you can choose how quickly the AFK timer should appear above a player. The configuration screen also shows your current AFK time directly inside the GUI.

Features:

  • displays an AFK timer above inactive players
  • detects player movement and camera movement
  • optional inventory activity indicator
  • optional clicks and item use indicator
  • optional chat message indicator
  • configurable timer appearance delay from 1 to 60 seconds
  • optional setting to prevent damage from resetting the AFK timer
  • shows your current AFK time in the configuration screen
  • client-side usage
  • simple in-game configuration screen

Example use cases:

  • see when a player has stopped moving
  • track how long someone has been AFK
  • use a visible AFK timer on multiplayer servers
  • customize what actions should count as activity
  • avoid resetting the AFK timer from taking damage

Requirements:

  • Minecraft with Fabric Loader
  • Fabric API

AFK Player Timer is lightweight and client-side. It does not automate gameplay or control the player. The mod only displays and tracks AFK time based on the configured activity indicators.
