⫷===============⫸ Knocker AI Addon A plugin for The Knocker mod that gives the creature a "living" AI-powered personality, allowing it to chat with players using neural networks. 📋 Requirements Minecraft: 1.20.1 Forge: 47.3.0+ Required Mod: The Knocker (Forge 1.20.1 version) Internet Connection: Required for API communication. 🚀 Installation Install Forge 1.20.1. Place the The Knocker mod file into your mods/ folder. Place knocker-ai-addon-1.0.0.jar into your .minecraft/mods/ folder. Launch the game once. The mod will automatically generate the configuration folder: .minecraft/Ai/. Open .minecraft/Ai/keys.txt to configure your API keys (see below). ⚙️ Configuration (.minecraft/Ai/keys.txt):

1. AI Provider: openai / claude / gemini / openrouter PROVIDER=openrouter

2. Model name (Optional - defaults to provider's choice) MODEL=nex-n2-pro:free

3. System Prompt — Define the AI's behavior and personality PROMPT=You are The Knocker, a mysterious creature of the dark. Speak briefly, eerily, in English. No more than 2 sentences. Do not show your thought process. Only provide the final response.

Security Warning: Never share your keys.txt file with anyone. It contains your private API credentials. 💡 Recommended Setup for Beginners We recommend using OpenRouter as the provider and nex-n2-pro:free as the model. This combination is highly stable, follows the prompt instructions strictly, and provides fast responses without "thinking" glitches. In-Game Usage Type any message in the Minecraft Chat. The mod captures your message and sends it to the AI. The AI responds directly in chat: [The Knocker] AI response 🔧 Troubleshooting AI not responding: Ensure your API key is correctly pasted in keys.txt. Check your game logs (.minecraft/logs/latest.log) for [KnockerAI] error messages. Cooldown: There is a 5-second cooldown between responses to prevent spam. Language: Currently, the prompt is optimized for English, but you can customize the PROMPT field in keys.txt to change the AI's personality or language. 🛡️ License & Support This mod is an independent addon.
