Alert Server Wake Up

A lightweight, server-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.11 that monitors the server's deep sleep state and alerts you when it wakes up.

Minecraft servers have a built-in feature (since Java_Edition_24w33a aka 1.21.2) to pause their tick loop when empty (pause-when-empty-seconds in server.properties) to save CPU resources. However, vanilla Minecraft only logs when the server goes to sleep, not when it wakes up. This mod fixes that.

✨ Features

  • Wake Up Notification: Automatically sends a message to the server console the exact moment a player joins and unpauses the server from a deep sleep state.
  • Status Command: Includes a console-only command to check the exact time remaining before the server enters deep pause.

🚀 Commands

  • /timeuntilpause
    • Usage: Console only (hidden from players).
    • Description: Returns the exact number of seconds left before the server suspends its tick loop, or notifies if the server is currently in a deep pause.

🛠️ Installation

Server-side only. You do not need to install this mod on the client. Just drop the .jar file into your server's mods folder.

  • Fabric Loader >=0.16.0
  • Fabric API
