Description
This is my port of Alex's Caves by AlexModGuy. It only ever came out for Forge 1.20.1, which always bugged me, so I ported it to every version from 1.20.1 up to 26.2 on Forge, Fabric and NeoForge.
Gameplay-wise it's the exact same mod. Six cave biomes, 43 mobs, 350 or so blocks, same recipes, same progression, same cave book. I didn't touch the balance or add my own stuff. If you've played the original, nothing here will surprise you.
What's different
Citadel is bundled now, so that's one less thing to download. I've also fixed bugs as I ran into them.
The bigger addition is some server commands. The original has around 200 config options and the only way to change them was to shut down the server and dig through a .toml file, which got old fast. So I added /acc:
/acc menuopens a chest menu with 39 of the settings people actually change, spread over seven pages (Status, World Generation, Mobs, Blocks, Items & Potions, Cave Tablet Loot, Vanilla Changes). Click to change stuff, save, done. No restart./acc configis the same thing as text if you'd rather type./acc config allfor everything,/acc config <page>for one group./acc biomesshows which biomes are on and how rare they are./acc reloadreloads biome generation settings without restarting./acc versionshows your version and loader and checks for updates.
Everything except version and help needs op. The menu is all server-side, so your players don't need anything besides the mod itself.
None of this changes what you find in the caves.
About the ports
58 builds total, and each one is a proper port, not just a bumped version number. I went through all 66 mixins for every Minecraft version and tested each build separately. It took a while.

Everything that makes this mod good is AlexModGuy's: the biomes, mobs, art, music, all of it. I just want people to be able to keep playing it.

LGPL-3.0, same as the original.
Alex's Caves Continued is a continuation of Alex's Caves by AlexModGuy, the same six enormous, hand-authored cave biomes, the same 43 mobs and 350-odd blocks, brought forward to Minecraft 1.20.1 through 26.2 and to Fabric and NeoForge alongside Forge.
Nothing about the mod's content has been changed. It is the original mod, ported, same biomes, same mobs, same recipes, same progression, same cave book.
Server tools — /acc
Alex's Caves shipped with ~200 config options and no way to reach them via /acc menu
What "Continued" means
Alex's Caves shipped for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1 only. This project brings the identical mod to 58 builds every Minecraft version from 1.20.1 to 26.2, on all three loaders that shipped for it.
Credits
Alex's Caves is AlexModGuy's work the biomes, the mobs, the art, the music, the design, all of it. This project exists to keep that work playable on current Minecraft and on every loader.
