About
Description
I originally created this mod to balance a modpack I was playing with my friends, but I realized it could be useful for the community, so I decided to share it!
Alien Evo Stats Fix is a highly modular, balance-focused add-on designed to dynamically scale damage, health, and armor for the Alien Evo mod. It bridges the gap between static alien power and your character’s progression by ensuring that your hard-earned human attributes carry over to your alien transformations.
Key Features
- Fully Modular & Toggleable: You have complete control. You can enable or disable the health sync, armor sync, or weapon damage scaling independently. If you don't like a specific feature, simply turn it off.
- Dynamic Stat Inheritance: Your alien forms will inherit your human health and armor proportionally, preventing you from losing your progression when transforming. Abilities also scale based on your human attack damage.
- Easy Configuration: The mod is highly customizable. You can adjust all multipliers and toggles via the configuration file located in your config folder (AlienEvoStatsFix.toml). Alternatively, you can configure everything on the fly using the in-game config menu or by typing /aestats commands directly in the chat.
- Compatibility Tested: Fully tested and working seamlessly with the LevelUP! mod and vanilla Potion Effects. Your attribute bonuses will be properly calculated and carried over.
Future Plans
- Deeper native integrations with major RPG and progression mods (such as Apotheosis for Critical Chance and Critical Damage scaling).
- Expanded compatibility support for larger, more complex modpacks.
How the Math Works (Summarized Formulas)
To keep the balance in your hands, the mod calculates your stats using the following logic:
Damage Scaling: Final Damage = Original Ability Damage + [(Human Attack Stat * Specific Ability Multiplier) * Overall Multiplier] (Note: You can toggle whether the "Human Attack Stat" includes your currently equipped weapon or just your bare-handed base stats).
Health Synchronization: Alien Total Health = Alien Base Health + (Human Max Health * Health Multiplier)
Armor Synchronization: Alien Total Armor = Alien Base Armor + (Human Total Armor * Armor Multiplier)
