Minecraft Versions
- 26.2: supported
Current Features
Pumpkin Carving Station — craft one from an iron ingot, shears, a crafting table, and some planks. Use it to dye and carve pumpkins.
- Dyeing — place a pumpkin and up to 3 dyes in the station to get a colored pumpkin. Dyed pumpkins can be re-dyed; new dyes mix with the existing color.
- Carving — place up to four stencils around the pumpkin to carve its four sides. Stencils aren't used up, so you can reuse them. The finished pumpkin spins in the output slot so you can see every side.
Carving Stencils — Blank, Crafter, Creaking, Creaking Heart, Creeper, Dispenser, Dropper, Heart, Jack o'Lantern, Jigsaw, Lodestone, Observer, Spawner, Structure Block, and Wither Rose.
- Craft a Blank Stencil from paper and a pumpkin seed, then combine it with a matching item to make a themed stencil (for example, a creeper head for the Creeper stencil).
- Heart, Jigsaw, Spawner, and Structure Block stencils can't be crafted. Find them as rare loot in village houses, strongholds, woodland mansions, dungeons, ancient cities, and end cities.
Lit decorated pumpkins — craft a decorated pumpkin with a torch to light it, keeping its color and carving. Each torch gives a different glow: Torch (light 15), Soul Torch (light 10, blue), Copper Torch (light 14, green), and Redstone Torch (light 7, red). Shear a lit pumpkin to get the torch back.
Candle-lit decorated pumpkins — sneak and use a candle on a decorated pumpkin, then add up to four. Each candle adds light (3, 6, 9, 12). Snuff them with an empty hand, relight with flint and steel, and shear the pumpkin to take them back out. A pumpkin holds either candles or a torch, not both.
Inspect a pumpkin — sneak with an empty hand on a decorated pumpkin to see what's inside it.
Vanilla pumpkins — use a torch on a carved pumpkin to make a jack o'lantern, or shears on a jack o'lantern to take the torch back out.
Dispenser support — dispensers can light and unlight pumpkins (torches and candles) and shear out their contents.
Wearable pumpkins — decorated pumpkins can be worn in the helmet slot (lit ones can't).
- Other players see your dyed, carved pumpkin, and endermen won't be angered when you look at them.
- In first person you see through the carved openings. An uncarved face blocks your view completely.
- Choose which side faces forward with the "Turn Worn Pumpkin" key (unbound by default).
- A config option (also available through Mod Menu) lowers how much the worn pumpkin blocks your view.
Cider Press — craft one from an iron ingot, two sticks, a barrel, and three planks. Put in 3 apples, a glass bottle, and some fuel (charcoal or coal gives 8 pressings, blaze powder gives 20), and after a short press you get a bottle of apple cider and a piece of pomace.
- Apple Cider — a drink that restores hunger and gives you the empty bottle back.
- Sweet Berry Juice and Glow Berry Juice — press 3 sweet berries or 3 glow berries instead of apples. They drink the same as apple cider, and pomace comes out too.
- Pomace — can be composted, used as fertilizer, and fed to pigs to breed them. Feeding it to a hurt pig, cow, sheep, or horse heals them a little.
- Hoppers — can feed the press and empty it.
Spices — cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, crafted together into mulling spices for mulled apple cider.
- Cinnamon — sometimes drops when you strip a cherry, mangrove, or jungle log with an axe.
- Cloves — smelt a small flower (dandelion, poppy, azure bluet, cornflower, oxeye daisy, and more) in a furnace or smoker.
- Nutmeg — smelt cocoa beans in a furnace or smoker, or buy it from a Journeyman farmer for 1 emerald for 2 nutmeg.
- Mulling Spices — craft one cinnamon, one cloves, and one nutmeg together.
Mulled Apple Cider — pour 3 bottles of apple cider into a cauldron, add mulling spices by right-clicking it with them (once per batch), and set it over a lit campfire or soul campfire. It won't start simmering until the spices are in. After about 30 seconds it turns into mulled apple cider; use empty glass bottles to ladle out 3 servings.
Mulled Sweet Berry Juice and Mulled Glow Berry Juice — sweet berry juice and glow berry juice go in a cauldron and mull exactly the same way, each in its own cauldron and with its own mulled drink. Different juices can't be mixed in one cauldron.
- Every serving restores 8 hunger.
- If the fire goes out, the simmer starts over but the spices stay.
Harvest Foods — a few autumn foods, all in the Food & Drinks tab.
- Soul Cake — craft wheat, sugar, and an egg for 2 cakes. Add one spice before crafting for a cake with a short effect (30 seconds each): cloves give Absorption, cinnamon gives Luck, nutmeg gives Night Vision. Add mulling spices for a Spiced Soul Cake with all three.
- Pumpkin Soup — a pumpkin, a bowl, and a carrot or potato. Gives the bowl back.
- Roasted Pumpkin Seeds — cook pumpkin seeds in a furnace, smoker, or campfire.
- Apple Pie — apple, sugar, and apple over three wheat.
- Spiced Pumpkin Pie — a pumpkin pie and mulling spices, crafted together. A bigger meal than plain pumpkin pie.
Advancements — a set of advancements for crafting the station, dyeing, carving, wearing pumpkins, lighting them in new ways, and collecting stencils. Two are secret.
