(This mod is not affiliated with the official MassiveCraft Server or staff team. It is purely a fan work.)

The Alorian Expansion mod is continuously in development and aims to add many features and systems from MassiveCraft to the base Minecraft in a somewhat-Vanilla+ style. Currently, the mod adds systems for Clockwork, Puretek, Vampirism, and Cahalism.

Clockwork is made up of brass gears and powered by the essence of souls. To create it, you will need a Clockwork Workbench, a Soul River Extractor, large and small Brass Gears, and the shell of the machine you would like to create. Using Clockwork you can create the:

Clocktik Spider - A small mechanical spider that currently serves no use. I think they're pretty neat though :)

Clockwork Companion - A clockwork wolf that behaves much like a tamed dog. The sole difference is that instead of making it sit, you can instead pick it up and carry it with you in your inventory.

Clockwork Charger - A large plated ram built for combat. The Charger is faster than most horses and is immune to arrow and fire damage, however it cannot jump so it is best used on flat ground.

The Puretek is a weapon crafted originally by Aloria's Regalian Purists. They resemble firearms of the real world, but they are made of stone and no hole in the barrel. Instead of shooting bullets, it shoots a burst of holy energy known as 'Quicksilver'. The only way to make a Puretek is made out of a mysterious 'Purestone', which can be crafted by combining diamond, gold nugget, and two of any stone type in a Unionist Shrine. This stone can be used to craft the following Pureteks:

Quarter Puretek - The Quarter Puretek resembles a pistol and does no damage, but is instead used to slow an opponent's movement.

Demi Puretek - The Demi Puretek resembles a rifle and is used to damage an opponent.

Heavy Puretek - The Heavy Puretek resembles a shotgun and is used to inflict large amounts of knockback on entities. (This doesn't currently work on players)

Vampirism is a curse that can be contracted by drinking "Dubious Blood" found in Vampire Castles, a new structure that generates in Spruce Forests. Careful, though, as the Castle is guarded by the menacing Vampire Illager. The Vampirism Curse does the following things for gameplay:

Vampiric Leap - User can press "g" to perform an instant leap, teleporting in any direction they are looking.

Vampiric Hunger - User is no longer sated by food. They must feed on the blood of living creatures, which will slowly lower their health to 1.

Cahalism is a curse that can be contracted by being killed by a Cahal Illager, who spawn around Cahalic Shrines in Roofed Forests. The Cahal are neutral, but upon being attacked will transform into one of the following illagers: Cahal Wolf, Cahal Bush, or the Cahal Statue. The Cahalism Curse does the following things for gameplay:

Cahal Form - User can press "g" to transform into a stronger variant of themselves. This can only be done when not wearing armor, and grants the equivalent of unenchanted diamond armor. The User cannot equip armor while this ability is activated.

Cahalic Hunger - User is no longer sated by food. They must feed on the souls of living creatures, which will have a chance to instantly kill them.

(Note: This mod is currently incompatible with Just Enough Items)
