About
Description
Random Swap is a Minecraft Java datapack that every 60 seconds randomly reorders all online players and cycles their positions: each player moves to the next one’s location, and the last moves to the first. Works with any number of players (2+). When only one player is online the system pauses completely.
How it works
- A timer counts down on the actionbar: “Next swap in X s”
- At 0 every player is teleported in a fresh random cycle
- Odd and even player counts both work — everyone moves
- With 1 player the timer freezes and the actionbar clears
- A short “Positions swapped!” flashes when the cycle happens
- Load message appears when the datapack is enabled
Install
Drop the zip into the world’s datapacks folder, then run /reload.
Made for Minecraft Java 26.1–26.3.
