Welcome to Alterlands
This mod adds a new dimension to Minecraft, which shares a lot of properties with the Overworld. There are 4 Sectors filled with New Biomes, Ores, Materials, Decorative Blocks and much more
The mod also has lore in development, and recently Special Difficulties were added. Try this new challenge yourself!
Note: To play the newer beta versions (1.19.4 and forward) you'll need to download Geckolib as a dependency, as these versions use the library for the creation of custom mobs. Without Geckolib, you will not be able to play.

Important Note:
The mod is being completely overhauled for releasing on 1.20.1, but will later be backported (If possible, i'll try my best) To previous versions such as 1.19.4, 1.19.2 and 1.18.2 (Maybe even 1.16.5).
The next 1.4 Update will introduce the first big batch of custom animated Mobs, new biomes, new skybox effects for alterlands, new mechanics, a config file system to tweak features at your will, a bunch of new and reworked status effects, Shields, new enchantments and more. Please, if you want to make a review of the mod, wait a bit more until the release of this big update later this year. I will gretly appreciate if you could cover the mod after this giant rework, because right now this project is not on it's final form....

Alterlands is a free to use mod, but you have to follow certain rules if you want to use/advertise it.
First, if you are going to feature the mod in your website, the download link must redirect the users to this Curseforge page.
Second, if you like to use the mod in a modpack you are free to use it, as long as you give me my respective credits if you upload the modpack
on curseforge. Place my author name or a link to this page if you upload the modpack anywhere else.
Lastly, you cannot upload Alterlands on your website. I'll take actions if I found more websites that do this.

More torches A picture of the Torches of each sector, including vanilla normal and soulfire variants. There are also Crystal Torches that use the crystals above mentioned and are waterloggable -
Frozen Mountains - another look A look above the clouds, for the frozen mountains biome. This biome holds uncommon glaciar flora and will get ruins and archeological sites upon releasing the upcoming 1.4 genesis update -
Concept Art - Boss divisions The first concept art for the mod, made digitally. It shows how bosses will work in Alterlands when they get added in the upcoming updates. This was created mainly for the dev team and the mod's discord server, where all of the users speak spanish -
Void Stone Deposits biome A very glowy zone of the alterlands world, containing lumenous void outbreaks as main plants. The lumenous voidcaves can be found below -
Ceptidic Cave concept This is a handmade concept, but is a biome that i'm planning to add. It features Green Giant Glowshrooms, Conicox Crystals and also the new fluid Ceptidic Acid. It generates bubble particles all around -
All the Crystals you need This is a picture from all of the current crystals from the mod, including the Amethyst from vanilla. These are Nydron, Zephyr, Cerberium, Conicox, Orxon, Primex and Torvallion -
A Snowy day on the Frozen Mountains The snow storms at this biome are quite heavy, as the extra particles makes rain in this biome something really interesting. -
Pravinaceaes These are a type of small flower that has a unique 3D model attached to it, and generates in Cortex biomes, such as the Cortex Flower Plains and they come in Purple, Light Blue and White variants -
Snowy Cortex Meadows biome This is a cold biome, but not as cold as the Frozen Mountains. It has some snow particles constantly surrounding the environment, and some Cortex Trees can occasionally spawn here -
Magmatic Crag Fields biome This biome is extremely hot, contains Lava Geysers and occasionally Giant Volcanos. Below the surface, it can generate the Igneous Caverns or the Underground Hot Springs biomes -
Frozen Mountains biome A biome fully covered in Snow, with some arctic plants like the Tundra Herbalis and Arctic Cloud Blossom. This biome will soon hold Shalestone Ruins to explore, and also Ice and Snow Caves below the surface -
Ribbon Forest biome A small portion of the Ribbon Forest can be seen here, it holds many similar properties to the Cortex Forest, but with Glistering Vines growing out of the Giant Cortex Trees, and also small veins with Lavastone that holds Acid inside -
Oblivion Plains biome A deathly and obscure zone of the alterlands world, that provides access to occasional trees made out of Flux Wood, and also Flux Fang fruits. Below the surface one can find Crystal Caves and Delta Stone Caves -
Alpha Stone Deposits biome A vast wasteland made out completely of Alpha Stone. It contains pillars and ruins infused with mysterious magic catalyzers. Skeletal Spiders like to nest in these areas, and the biome can extended below the surface -
Cave entrance on Cortex Forest Allows acces to the cave system of the Cortex Sector. 3+ unique cave types can be found beneath this surface, including Crystal Caves, Acid Aquifers and Mud Caves -
Cortex Forest Provides Cortex Wood, Viction Fruits and a variety of flowers and other plants. The Cortex Templeshaft structure will spawn here on the upcoming 1.4 update -
Caves and Cliffs Port - Work in progress One image from the first builds of the mod in the 1.18 Update, this will come alive in the 1.4 Genesis Update, featuring new biomes, cave biomes in the dimension and a lot of unique features to all the existing biomes
