Description

AMBER – Adaptive Modular Basic Equipment Response

A simple, reactive armor system that automatically equips your gear on landing, slot change, or keybind.
Fully client-side – works on any vanilla server, no mod needed on the server side.
What is AMBER?

AMBER is a fully client-side armor management mod for Minecraft 1.21.11.
It watches for specific triggers – landing from an elytra flight, equipping or removing an armor piece, pressing a keybind, or activating a saved preset – and instantly equips the armor set you've chosen.

AMBER is designed to be simple, adaptive, and unobtrusive. It only acts when you need it, and never interferes when you don't.
Features
- Auto-Equip & Auto-Unequip

When you put on one piece of armor, AMBER completes the matching set from your inventory.
When you take one piece off, AMBER removes the entire matching set and returns it to your inventory, or drops it if your inventory is full.
- Smart Elytra System

The moment you touch the ground after an elytra flight, AMBER automatically disables the elytra and equips your selected armor set – so you're ready for combat instantly.
- Cycle Armor Sets

Press I to cycle through all full armor sets found in your inventory.
Presets

Best – equips the highest-tier armor available, with the best enchantments as a tie-breaker.

Nether – same as Best, but helmet and boots prefer golden armor if available (keeps piglins neutral). Chestplate and leggings still use the best material.

Elytra Quick-Equip

Press Y to instantly equip an elytra from your inventory into the chest slot.
Full GUI

Scrollable interface showing detected armor sets, saved profiles, and a visual profile builder.
Click any slot (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots) to choose the exact item you want – including specific enchantments and armor trims.
Save custom profiles locally in config/amber_profiles.json – they persist across sessions and servers.

Modded Armor Support

Default Keybinds

- I – Cycle armor sets
- O – Open the **AMBER** GUI
- Y – Equip elytra
- U – Equip Best preset
- N – Equip Nether preset
- T – Toggle Auto-Equip ON/OFF

All keybinds can be changed in Options -> Controls -> AMBER.
Why AMBER?

-     Adaptive – responds to multiple triggers: landing, slot changes, keybinds, and presets.
-     Modular – build and save your own profiles with exact items.
-     Basic – simple, clean, and easy to use.
-     Equipment – works with armor, elytra, and more.
-     Response – acts only when triggered, never intrusive.
WARNING!

AMBER sends standard ClickSlotC2SPacket packets – the same ones a player sends when manually moving items.
However, some anti-cheat plugins (Grim, Vulcan, NoCheatPlus, etc.) may flag unusually fast or perfectly-timed sequences as suspicious.

Before using AMBER on competitive servers:
-     Check the server's rules regarding auto-gear tools.
-     Use at your own discretion – AMBER is not tested against any specific anti-cheat plugin.
