Ever felt that diamonds are too easy to get? That's why I added a amethyst, a long-term mining goal while not being op. Amethyst generates as single blocks between y=0 and y=16. It's 5 times rarer than diamond so it will deffently take a while to get fully geared up. It requires a diamond pickaxe to mine as it is the tear above. As well as the normal tools and armor pieces, amethysts can also be crafted into a hammer(3x3 pickaxe) and a multitool (pickaxe, axe, shovel).

The rest are crafted in the same way as the vanilla tools/armors.
You are allowed to use this mod in modpacks. Do link this page from the pack's mod list tho.

NO, that would require it all being redone for scratch, there are forge alternatives that are similar
