About
Description
Speed up ancient debris mining with the Ancient Debris Finder or Nether Pickaxe. Right click any solid block and the pickaxe searches a 16 block radius for ancient debris. If found, the pickaxe remembers the location and changes color as the player moves. If the player is over 16 blocks away, the pickaxe turns black. When within 16 blocks, color varies from blue to red. The pickaxe has similar properties as a netherite pickaxe (i.e., harvest level 3, durability of 1,800). Get to the Nether and craft a Nether Pickaxe with 3 nether quartz and two sticks in the shape of a standard pickaxe. The Ancient Debris Finder offers more of a challenge. You'll have to defeat challenging mobs in the Nether in order to get the recipe. Across the top row, you need a ghast tear, followed by a nether star and followed by another ghast tear. And two blaze rods in the center of the next two rows to form the shape of a pickaxe.
