Description

🌟 The Block of Angel — Control the World, or Corrupt It

Start with nothing but a leather tunic and a stone sword.
Survive, explore, and uncover artifacts that let you bend the rules of the world itself.

This is not about grinding.
This is about power you earn — and how you choose to use it.

🎯 Your Goal

Your first true objective is clear:

Create a place where monsters cannot exist.

To achieve this, you must craft The Block of Angel — a powerful artifact that purifies the land and creates a safe haven. It can only be assembled by looting structures across the entire world.

This is not a shortcut.
It is the result of full exploration — temples, fortresses, the End, and beyond.

⚠️ Once placed, the block does not work immediately.
It must awaken over the course of one full in-game day before it begins to purify the area.

But this is not the end.

Once you reach safety, the world opens up in new ways —
and power begins to change how you play.

⚖️ Two Forces — Angel and Devil

Two powerful artifacts define the late game:

  • The Block of Angel — protection, control, peace.
  • The Block of Devil — chaos, corruption, and power.

The first one removes monsters and creates a safe zone. The second prevents monster deaths and corrupts the environment.

The Devil Block is obtained earlier — and is required to craft the Angel Block.
To keep both, you will need to gather enough resources to create it twice.

Placed in the world, the Devil Block slowly infects the surroundings:

  • forests decay into bare trunks
  • grass turns into mycelium
  • stone becomes infested or unstable

The Block of Devil: Corrupt the End

And yet… it gives you something in return. Used together, these blocks unlock advanced control:

  • filter which monsters are removed
  • spawn specific ones
  • farm rare drops like mob heads and music discs

🧭 How the Game Changes

Early game is harsh survival.
But as you grow stronger, your playstyle evolves.

After crafting The Rod of Angel, a new phase begins:

Survival without constant danger.

  • Build freely — monsters no longer interrupt you
  • Explore dangerous places with confidence
  • Return to areas like the Deep Dark without fear — if you're careful

⚠️ But not everything is safe.
Some threats still reach you if you lose control.

🏗️ Build Faster, Think Bigger

Specialized rods unlock a new kind of gameplay:

  • Track Layer Rod — place rails, fences, and redstone in long lines
  • Builder Rod — construct structures at speed using offhand resources
  • Planter Rods — automate farming
  • Magnetic Rods — extract ores without endless mining

Build Faster

This is where the mod shines:

You still gather resources — but you build on a completely different scale.

🧪 Artifacts That Change the Rules

Scattered across structures are rare artifacts with unique effects:

  • influence the environment
  • support combat or survival
  • provide situational advantages

Some are simple.
Some are powerful.
Some behave in unexpected ways. Learning how and when to use them is part of the experience.

🛡️ Six Materials — Six Playstyles

The mod introduces 6 unique materials, each defining a different approach to survival:

  • mobility vs protection
  • environment adaptation (water, fire, nature)
  • risk vs stability

Lymonite Armor for You and Your Horse

Armor, tools, and weapons evolve through a simple system:

Base → Enhanced

No complexity — just meaningful upgrades.

🔮 Elemental Rods — Evolving Power

A core system of the mod is a progression of 5 elemental rods:

  • Earth → Water → Fire → Depths → End

Each rod upgrades the previous one, inheriting all abilities and adding new ones.

They allow you to:

  • generate or transform resources
  • modify terrain in unconventional ways
  • reduce the need to carry basic materials

Examples:

  • plant crops or vegetation instantly
  • create water sources
  • convert materials into useful resources

Each rod can be upgraded into a Magnetic version,
allowing you to pull ore blocks toward the surface.

Call the Depths to the Surface

Ores are not mined automatically — they must still be broken manually.

⚠️ Ores can only travel through stone-like blocks or air, and cannot pass through liquids or loose materials.

⚠️ All abilities consume hunger. Power comes at a cost.

⚔️ Enhanced Weapons

Upgraded weapons gain active abilities triggered by right-click:

  • create webs to trap enemies
  • generate fire zones
  • trigger explosions
  • form defensive barriers depending on terrain and stance

Desert Inferno

These abilities consume hunger and require timing and positioning.

Combat becomes more than just attacking —
it becomes control and decision-making.

⛏️ Smart Tools

Enhanced tools don’t just mine faster — they change how mining works:

  • blocks are mined in small groups instead of one by one
  • tunneling becomes significantly faster
  • large-scale excavation feels smooth and efficient

Aquarite Shovel

Combined with durability mechanics, this creates a balance:

speed vs longevity

⚙️ Durability Matters

Equipment degrades — but never disappears:

  • Armor loses protection as durability drops
  • Weapons lose damage
  • Tools lose efficiency (in stages)

At zero durability:

  • items remain in your inventory
  • but become functionally useless

👉 You feel the loss — without losing the item.

💣 Reworked Resources

Some vanilla materials gain new purpose:

  • Tuff now contains saltpeter — a primary ingredient for crafting gunpowder
  • Charcoal complements it as a secondary component

Gunpowder itself evolves into something more:

  • 9 gunpowder → Gunpowder Block
  • behaves like a falling block
  • explodes on impact or when jumped on

This creates new possibilities:

  • traps
  • chain reactions
  • environmental destruction

Even simple materials can become dangerous.

💀 Expect the Unexpected

Power comes with consequences.

Diamite Armor: Heavy but Unbreakable

Heavy armor can:

  • break blocks beneath your feet
  • collapse terrain
  • drop you into danger

The world reacts to your strength.

Sometimes violently.

✨ Key Features

  • Survival-focused progression without grind
  • Exploration-driven rewards
  • World-altering artifacts
  • Complementary Angel and Devil mechanics
  • Advanced building tools
  • Environmental transformation
  • Meaningful, risk-based mechanics
  • Interconnected systems that reinforce each other

🧡 Who is this mod for?

For players who:

  • prefer exploration over farming
  • want every discovery to matter
  • enjoy systems with risk and reward
  • like adapting their playstyle over time

If you want Minecraft to feel like a journey — not a routine —
this mod is for you.

💬 Final Words

Survive first. Shape the world later.

Whether you choose to create a safe haven…
or reshape the land into something darker —

The Block of Angel gives you the tools.

What you do with them is up to you.

Rendelite Armor for Loyal Companions
