Instead of killing, you can use friendly tools to safely collect drops while keeping your animals alive and happy. With AnimalFriendly, you can:

  • Harvest resources from animals without dealing damage.
  • Use special friendly tools that provide different resource multipliers.
  • Adjust durability and multipliers to balance the mod to your playstyle.

Configuration
All settings can be customized in the configuration file:
animalfriendly-common.toml

Available options include:

  • toolDurabilityMultiplier = 1 → Multiplier for tool durability (range 1–10).
  • woodToolMultiplier = 1.0 → Resource multiplier for wooden friendly tools (range 0.1–5.0).
  • ironToolMultiplier = 2.0 → Resource multiplier for iron friendly tools (range 0.1–5.0).
  • goldToolMultiplier = 3.0 → Resource multiplier for gold friendly tools (range 0.1–5.0).
  • diamondToolMultiplier = 5.0 → Resource multiplier for diamond friendly tools (range 0.1–5.0).
